Sevendust, yeah i got it from RS. But you modded your pipes too right? did you do it at JB?

 

Franciscyc, I love the look of the fat stock exhaust. but its just too silent. i ride my vespa at times and the silence of my shadow is even more obvious. at 100kmh, i think i only hear the wind and the rumble of the bike. (unless i suddenly open throttle, then can hear the chopper sound. but waste fuel lah.. haha)

 

 

 

 

Yeah thinking of going to JB to do it ,maybe when i go for long holiday with my family maybe i do it since he need the bike to be there with him for at least 4 to 5 days,franciscyc i did ask about the inspection can pass or not he told me dont worry he only operate inside and will install a baffle for me for inspection, he knows singapore rules and regulation for mods thats what he told me,anyway i trust him cause my close friend fatboy has been taken care and moded by him.

Hi all....not new to this forum, but should be consider first time posting.

 

Wanted to sell off my shadow but did not meet the requirement.

 

Just want to check with you guys. Currently my seats is broken. Do you think it would be better to repair it before i sell it or just sell it with current condition?

feels good. I rode up to KL on a self-made pan seat, no issue! (:

 

whoa i am lousy at sourcing for materials (ie metal plates, equipment to cut to shape, how??????) you think you can make one for me bro?

Used to got there to service my shadow but after a few incident decided to go ah chong.

Reason being

1) parts he ordered wrongly and got the cheek to say the wanted part need to wait for 3 months and the one he installed is the similar just that some part got to use back and i paid the full amt for the wrong part. which i later confirm that there are stock available locally at boon siew rather than the story he tell.

2) u really had to supervise closely when he do ur bike else u can expect to wait till the cow come home liao before things get done.

3) dun know where he get his parts from as once requested for a simple part (nut) and he say he asked a few supplier, also dun have and need to wait... i was har... so nvm i just called boon siew and got the part within hrs instead of days for the parts.

 

There are a few other things that i encounter there and was tired to list them out so these are just some of it.

Was recommended by others but after a few times of him show this kind of pattern.

i think it is time for me to move on liao...

I heard a lot of good reviews abt him. Maybe I m one unluck chap. Spend almost $600 still get problem. Every time return I felt he doing quick fix. Problem come back after I left the shop. :(

My baby just born last Dec, so bought car already. Wanted to keep both but after 2 months of trying, i find that i din ride at all. Moreover, i paid car season parking (bike free) for my company building liao:cry:, so must as well make full use of it.

 

Personally i prefer to ride than drive. Reasons being

Cheap - no need to explain more

fast - during traffic jam or even red lights

convenient - easy to find parking

 

The one and only disadvantage is weather lor.

Divorce final, BUY 2 bikes! :cheeky:
