hi,guys n gals!

 

dis info r 4 the riders dat want 2 take part in motor cycle sports events.

the race licences fall into the following categories.

 

 

1) club licence - dis licence is 4 new comers with out any race/track exposure at all. this licence is valid 4 all events held by mssc in s'pore or m'sia. age from 5 yrs old up.

 

2) national licence - dis licence is 4 riders with race/ track exposure. dis licence is valid 4 ALL events in s'pore n selected events in m'sia.

age from 10 yrs old up.

 

 

3)international licence - dis licence is 4 riders wanting to race in overseas events. dis licence is valid 4 all international inscribed events. (licence applicant must be smsa member)

 

all licence applicants 4 club & national level licence must be members of mssc n must have valid RACE insurance coverage.

the charges for the mssc race insurance is from S$35 upwards.

hi,these licences are issued by smsa. u don have 2 join smsa 2 get the race licence/race insurance. but tru mssc. ( members fees n mssc race insurance is still needed.)

hi,m sorry at dis moment the smallest cc bike dat is racing in the kids class is 65cc 4 the m'sian series! best now is 4 him 2 ride the mx track @ mssc dirtpark n let him get use 2 the different obstacles.

some good news! applicants 4 "club"licence need not get clearance from a doctor. but u must declared yr self fit 2 race. lower cost now 4 u,guys!

hi,yes the 'club" licence is good enough 4 a newbie or juz a weekend warrior out 2 have some fun! it helps 2 lower the cost of moto sport at the entry level!

hi,guys! dis posting is 2 rebutt the fact about "mssc licence" not being valid for other events! please take note that all the race licences from mssc are issued by SMSA so if u guys can't use the national licence 2 race in other events? how can the other guy with a smsa licence race 2??? guys,take note dat unless its from the smsa website or the mssc website,everything out there is hearsay!

Just to make it more clear to everyone out there. MSSC gotta 2 type of race license, one is the MSSC club race license, another is the SMSA national race license. Both license are issued by SMSA

 

MSSC members can only take part in MSSC club event using the MSSC Club license, whether in singapore or msia, as long it's MSSC Club Event.

 

MSSC members also can apply SMSA national race license thru MSSC. Only with this license, riders / members are able to join national class event.

 

Unless there is any special agreement, like what we had for MSSC Enduro Rd1in Lor Halus, the event was also open to SMSA members. MSSC members that need / want to participate events organised by other clubs / organiser other than MSSC, would need to follow their requirement.

 

If anyone still have any doubt of SMSA Natonal Race license applied thru MSSC, please contact MSSC at 6783 3063 (mr. Ong).

 

PS - MSSC members...all the best in your upcoming races...whether is it MSSC club event or others' events, pls give your fullest support, for the further of our sports.

yes! dat is 1 of the things u would need. the other is race insurance. there is more info on the insurance rates in the club website under the general disscussion folder.

i understand dat the races at tuas have a 1 day licence thing going on there. tink it would be better if u were 2 contact the track operator 4 more info on dat.

 

as 4 the mssc events we do not have a 1 day licence thing cos of the race insurance.
