lol i wish i had the time to travel....part time sch starts next week....

 

really envious of you guys with boxes....how do i use sengkwang without incurring such a heavy ridiculous price....its weird....anyone here are friends with them?can i tag along and see the price drop to 100?

 

seng kwang charge 200+ jus to install? wat abt fabriaction costs??

 

was thinkin one day if someone gift me a pair of Trax side boxes..den i go make a rack from SK...

 

gel seat takes 3 days wor.... prob stay 2 days oni.....

 

 

he's a christian , just tell him u are a buddist but will convert if he charge at 1/2 price...explain to him abt a $100 duscount per soul:angel:

 

 

other wise put carton boxes as pannier and use rafia string to secure to the side, it sure cost econmical....if it's rain use the trash bag to water proof it...

lets see....how long does it take to fix a box on the bike? 2 hours or more? Unless the box comes standard with a brackets to suit your bike. You need to fabricate the stainless brackets. To do that, you need to cut the plates, fix the brackets on the rear seat frame, then carefully tack the box base brackets on the side brackets. Check for alignment. If ok, remove brackets and carry out welding making sure that the brackets do not distort after welding. Grind off excess weldment and clean the welding area with pickling acid. After half hour, wash off acid and blow dry. Polish the brackets using a good polishing wheel with AAA grade polishing compound for stainless steel and buff it till it shines. Fasten the completed brackets on the rear frame, if it is out of alignment due to the welding, take it out and bend it. Use only A2-70 stainless boltings. Finally install the box on the brackets and collect money. Do you need receipts? If you need have to include 7% GST.

You forgot the staples to hold the cardboard in shape Mord.

lol I went to BikeTech21, the young malay/arab/indian/Mediterranean/?? guy quoted me 520 for SW-Motech Trax top box!!!! WAH!!! but really looks nice, dunno whether HepcoB's Xplorer will cost the same....anyways after doing all my bike box research......my morale went down so i think I've decided to just get a cheap toprack$80 plus maybe a kappa box...total cost maybe 200+ plus nia.
