Aza: Haha.. I think my Mito should be good on the track, but I am sure I will be pretty useless. Since my accident I can't do right bends properly =/. Anyway, what is it you bring down to PG? Mito also is it? I want to go as soon as I can, but need to get my baby up in a good condition first =D. What time and who are you going with tomorrow?

Oh come on! don't be so harsh on yourself,you can do it!. You aim is to be the fastest mito on PG. anyway when your up for track, call me down also, i will be behind you, horning & flashing my headlights at you at every bend. Hahaha... maybe we can overtake each other like how we do it at Permas Jaya track!

Ben: Lol I would love to be the fastest stock Mito on PG, but I highly doubt that will come anytime in the next 2 years unless I hit jackpot....New engine, new gearbox, new many many other things! =D And no, I would hate to do what he did at Permas Jaya on PG. I think we will just crash badly lol (as if we already haven't). Anyway, hope you can do up your suspension first and then save up for jacket and stuff. I will see if I can get hold of that Flow Commander thing Norman was telling me about as well as exhaust header temp gauge, and then jacket and stuff. Then I might go down. After all, I'm planning to keep this baby of mine.

 

Guys, the last time Dirtman was asking if any of you needed stuff. He was planning to order to UK, I don't know if he has already or not. But if you guys need stuff, try messaging him or posting here on the main better, so that everyone can keep track of pricing and procedure for each other. I have a friend who might need one too. Meanwhile, I might need the rubber manifold which connects from the carb to the engine block. Mine looks like it's cracking and it's not good once it cracks lol.

Hey guys if any of you are in need of new fairings...check this out. This is the complete set(almost). Costs slightly over a 1000SGD, which is much cheaper than if you bought a complete original set from Minerva. Left and right upper sideboards will already cost you about 1020SGD. Check it out.

I found liao...$200 for the valve motor n the black box dat connects to it..

think its called the valve unit or something...btw its from sin boon...

near sambawang...dun really know the address though...accidentally got

there..haha..if the boss dun haf it,he'll help u ask scrap yard n other shops...

can know on the spot,den once confirm probably tomorrow can get liao

or i can check for u lor..jus PM me bah...anyway i also dunno if

the parts i bought will last...he himself say cannot confirm,jus say dat i get

my bike dat day it'll work n i can go for a test run leaving...after dat he wun

hey guys i jus want to know where u send ure bikes for servicing and how much does it cost .... ? and wat u service regularly.. from most important to least important... and wat is the top speed of ure mito's be it stock or modded.... and the fuel consumption like .... thanks.... do u guys go to NTRUST too ? .. or to the agent.. or wat .... ? let me know in detail pls... and dun 1 2 ppl reply i know there are mito ppl there... i need more ppl to chip in ... thanks alot ..

like many have said.. you just have to SCROLL through the previous pages of this forum and all the information you reqeusted will be there...really...

almost all the info i have about my mito is learnt from here

 

any way...i go to First Motors for servicing...but considering that i only received my bike 3 weeks ago...i wont used the term regular.

im thinking of switching to Racewerks for regurlar servicing, i trust the ppl there more. parts maybe i will still go back to FM.

 

there are various things that are important to service and also to check and ensure are in proper working condition...meaning your block, piston and everything connected to that, check carburator, clear valve, wiring, blah blah blah...

 

if lets say everything is in good condition or you have already serviced, then invest in good 2T and gd petrol, engine oil,

 

hope its some help and im sure the others have a lot to fill in

my top speed so far i tried is 160...but considering the fact that my valve motor isn't working (meaning the valve dun open at the right time) im sure the bike can go alot faster....no mods that i know of for the bike except that its using K&N air filter..

my fuel consumption sucks..i think its abt 15km per litre... but i blame that on the valve being spoilt and me having to ride hard every single time.

so i say: it is..i conpared it with other pipes and even the bike shop and the dealer(Minerva) said it original..

 

he says: i know.. thats becos your pipe outside looks the same.. but the sound is different, Mito where got so loud one..

 

i say: serious ah like that how. i can kena summon isit?

 

he said: yeah, ROV catch you, ask you open everything then they see something they summon $500

 

so what im saying is that, as far as i know, the pipe is original.

the previous owner is my friend and he said he never mod anything. infact he even passed inspection the last time(proved with inspection sheet).

 

have any of you guys experience anything like that and what do you guys suggest i do next. thanks

Mannu: Hey man. Nowadays, I send it to Race Werks. I trust them and they are that good, not only in their workmanship, but in many other stuff as well. Normally, after about 2000km I will change my gear oil, spark plug and coolant. That will cost me between 40-50 dollars. After 10,000km, I will do a top servicing which will be slightly over a hundred. Any other things, I will also go back to them. Top speed before I did my overhaul at a ###### shop, carb tuning and stuff not done properly, was 170. I believe I can go even higher than that because I was running with a loose conrod that time which was susceptible to a major jam anytime. I'm running a FS plate 6-gear bike with a 7-gear Mito exhaust pipe. Consumption for normal riding, with a little bit of hard riding sometimes will be 20-25km/l. And I will go to NTrust for their Unil-Opal products now.

hhm... just wanna say that dont really need to change coolant that often.... change together when you are doing top servicing should be fine. Since they will need to drain it out also
