Yo all. I'm selling off my mito, which is previously owned by smokesail (Jackson). Bike is in good internal and external conditions. Temporarily going to stop riding, as I've got other transport available and after doing quite a fair bit of thinking.

Bike is available for coi or full cash. Do sms me at 93684994 if you have any queries.

if want to use 425 can...

 

if want to use 415 also can.... but 415 need to get GP chain.. if not you'll risk snapping it...

how was it last time?(fuel consumption)

i used to have this prob.

change all my jettings pins to new fresh ones.

(most wear out n shortened plus service carb)

it got back to normal!maybe u can try that..(not 100% correct uh)

 

2nd is the reed valve(whether koyak liao ornt)

way to check.(take off yur carb,see whether is koyak)

(is yur rpm going up n down although mech/u have set it the best)

 

if yes the reedvalve koyak=more air=more fuel=$

 

hope it help in a way or two.

ask yur mech to check tis first?

anyone to add on..

alamak u need to know yur bike better bro.

reedvalve is placed after yur carb before entering

the engine(top head,piston)

u can see the reedvalve cage by opening our tank but not the

reeds.

 

if ur new,better to let yur mech do n show u

 

2nd is u noe carb got pilot jets,etc

this is the needle like thing im refering to

150 at 5? Dude don't maintain that all the way 'less you've got spare cash lying around for a new piston. At first you think she can take it, then she suddenly dies and you have to glide to the side of the expressway and wait for a few minutes before she starts. After a few times of doing that, she just jams up and you've got to leave her at FM for a few weeks while Ah Seng tries to get a new piston.

150 at 5? Dude don't maintain that all the way 'less you've got spare cash lying around for a new piston. At first you think she can take it, then she suddenly dies and you have to glide to the side of the expressway and wait for a few minutes before she starts. now cruise at gear 6 at rpm 5-6

just wana have a feel of mito power la tat day

Cause wanna use the funds to start something else. Biking have to temporarily stop. Hee hee, next time will resume biking. Hopefully by then will be the "ice cream truck" version of mito.

Hi all mito-ers!!! i juz got a mito.. any advice do u all old birds/ seniors got?? erm.. going at 150 will jam e piston?? realli?? hmmm.. but i went 170 on my sp and nth happen. do u mean draggin tt speed for long?? =] sorri if u find my questions kinda dumb coz i m quite noob..

bro wengs,they just giving me advice cuz they tot i go 150 at tat gear regularly tat kinda thing.they realli being nice to advice me aniway!mito riders take care of each other ride bro~its a small community u see.

aniway dun tell me u went 170 EVERYDAY on yur sp rite?if yes sure yur piston

cant take it rite=jam!

 

but i believe we need to drag the rpm once a week thing or sumting

good fer bike i guess

Wakaka.... Yea. In the meantime can only listen to others' "ice cream trucks" for now. You riding a 250 now? Anyways, I no longer in NTU le. Defected to SIM liaos... :sweat:

Anyways, for those who just got their mitos or intend to get one, it's a great learner bike. Plus it looks very good. The downside is just the cost of parts. Labour somewhat is considerably similar to other 2b bikes.

Oh, and piston jam can be caused by other factors. Don't whack the bike too much lo... esp at top gear with high rev. But I heard from others you need to open the valve regularly to prevent the valve jamming. Unless you clean it all the time. Also, make sure your 2t pump is working, you should notice white smoke from the pipe when you rev the bike. There isn't any 2t bike that can combust completely, meaning totally no smoke, super clean combustion. I kena piston jam due to that, even though I used relatively good 2t.
