no it shouldn't. cos the 2t main purpose is to lube the piston.

thanks,couse i just change the 2t/coolant tank since the last one kaput already,but now the temp tends to be higher riding in town temp hovering ard 75'c on highway 65-70'c i dont understand what happen...i ride like i use to

 

after riding i touch the radiator its damn hot.

Many HAVE very BIG respond on it.

 

one thing that can affect the temp is also the cylinder.

py 2T oil pump is tuned like 1,5~2mm

 

on your technical thread i dont understand how you measure the 1,5~2mm?

 

from the reference line on the case n go to which side?more or less oil?

The new mito will be out in the market some time soon. It will be better than the old one I hope. Excle will be bring in one or two bikes.

change the coolant to engine ice,clean the radiator and straighten all the bent fin but the temp is still above 60'c

 

i dont know what else i should do?any advise?

 

btw how to make sure that theres no air inside?and how to check that the pump is working fine?

i dont understand how can we get below 65'c....

 

i read the manual and it said that the thermostat will not use the radiator until 65'c is reach,after it reach 65'c then the cooling systems will continues use the radiator as long as the temp is above 65'c

 

hhmm maybe i should change the thermostat setting?or just take it out...

 

on the other hand maybe my cylinder generate to much heat until the cooling systems cannot handle....

if its that pig looking mito, well its better in sense that its almost FULLY electronic however, you will not be able to mod it cos its computerize by the electronic. even if u wan to mod it, it will be VERY HASSELS. many of friends in europes has it. forgot to mention that, they said, the maintaince wise is still the same as the old ones.

one thing for sure, if u din premix 2t n petrol n the 2t pump is not functioning, U WILL HAVE a VERY BAD piston seizure.

the thermostat at the cylinder head might be worn out. cagiva cooling system has by-bass circulation in it but if thermostat is worn out the bu-bass wont still let engine run enough cool

The photos about coolant propeller system. it hasn't got any design errors or anything like that. but i can get kinda loose or sometimes few propeller wings might be broken even that the propeller is made from aluminum alloy (some bikes have plastic propeller)

I have done an update on checking bubbles n how to remove it. and abt propeller system that need maintaince n checking. And also the thermostate cylinder.

maxima cool aide is out of stock and they only have engine ice,better than nothing.

 

ive just check the thermostat and theres no thermostat to be found its gone.i open the 2 screw and nothing...none...

 

i go to city for a while and the temp are ok...60-65 and i also notice running at 8500 rpm the engine more quieter and much more less vibration compare to day and 65-70'c temp

 

i think my last option will be putting a pc fan on it.
