Likely you can go to Seng Kwang and ask Gilbert to cut a steel patch sheet...size enough to cover the leak and use steel welding to do up the job..should be less than $80 anytime lah.

sound of exhaust systems are relative to the person who listens to it.

Performance wise, moriwaki!

Dear all. Currently I have just had my Moriwaki One-piece installed on my S4 VTEC 3. However I am having some problems with regards to the inspection. Apperantly, I went to VICOM for inspection, and the inspector said that I do not have the certificate for the exhaust. I have a JMCA card which is laminated and has the specifications of the exhaust, but the inspector still refused to inspect, stating that the card is laminated and thus they cant stamp on the card. As attached below is the pictures of the documents I have which relates to Moriwaki. Is there anything else I should get for my exhaust to be able to be inspected? All kind answers are greatly appreciated. Thank You.

As seen below is the picture of the laminated JMCA card (front and back view) & a piece of paper with Japanese writings which I dont know what is for.

Besides these 2 documents, I also have are the schematics of the exhausts and Moriwaki stickers. When I went for the inspection I also brought the invoice, letter from workshop for request for inspection. So I don't understand what more the inspector needs. Is there another Moriwaki Certificate?

Flea. Thank You for the response. I will try to find that certificate.

Thing is I got my Moriwaki as a workshop assisted me in the repair and claims procees as I was involved in an acident. I asked the workshop if there is any other cert but they said they dont. So anyways who is the distributor for Moriwaki exhaust and how can I contact them? Thank You for the kind assistance again everyone.

Palmer thank you for your response. I'll try what ever options thats given to me to get the problem solved. I'm just worried. Just a query if the picture i've posted is not the document I need then how does the certificate actually look like? Could any Moriwaki owner's post a picture of it pls. Thank you.

I have a letter with the letterhead "Yoshiko Trading" and the content basically states that the exhaust was installed on my bike. At the bottom states their address No.35 Kelantan Lane in which I believed that it's the address for REGINA. I have all this documents but I still dont understand why the inspector did not allow my exhaust to be inspected.

need a letter from LTA before going for inspection........

euz Thank You for your response.

Actually I have that letter too. It's a reply letter from LTA addressed to me for request to have Moriwaki to be installed to my bike. Basically the letter states that they do not have any objection for the installation. On one of the paragraph, it is stated that for the inspection, I would need to bring my bike with the exhaust installed together with "JMCA registration card" (this was exactly how it was stated in the letter) and the letter to any LTA authourised inspection centre. I believed that I have fulfilled the conditions but still the inspector on that day do not want to inspect my bike stating that I do not have enough documents. Is the JMCA card the only piece of document from Moriwaki that has all the specifications on it, or is there another English version of it with specifications?

if you want the easiest solution i guess is to ask the bikeshop to send it for inspection for you.. then from there you get all the relevant back from them after the inspection..

yup yup individual have indidual pref... its hard not to agree that yoshi sounds better... but performance really is moriwaki... you can never get the same kick as you get with a yoshi at 8k rpm onwards.
