hi guys.. jus wanna check.. does any of u ride at punggol end or pasir ris(the field next to the high way)? jus wondering is it a good place for a newbie to ride? i have seen many scrams going in and out of these places and i thought i might want to give it a try.. any advices??

hi,as a newbie. can do anything but don get caught. pasir ris is under the care of jtc n punggol is under the care of pub. tanah merah is under the care of caas. anything happens u r on yr own! be smart n ride in the proper area!

2 many internet racers and not enough real racers in s g!

hi airtime! hmmm.. thanks for the info.. i thought i could try a little on the local grounds first before i start over at across the causeway.. haha.. but seems like the grass is still greener on the other side.. lol..

I am sure he is referring to Lorong Halus.

hi,demon! lor halus is also private land manage by a gov ministry. we get 2 use it 4 races b4.

lor halus? saw some videos on the race. looks like an interesting place to ride with hills. near my house somemore, maybe someone can bring us newbies there go ride? :D

hi,like i said its private land n not open 2 public. the riding loop is fantastic,took abt 2 wks 2 cut it tru. but,s the rain comes the dangerous stuff comes up.... glass,wires n metal bars! it wouldn't be good if a rider were to fall n get a bar pierce tru his body n the place get shut down for all future races.

 

there are other riding areas juz abt 15 mins from yr place. :)

but the other places ive seen all so flat land. might as well ride my bicycle around. care to PM me some places with nice slopes/hills like lorong halus? i reckon TM is rather flat too right? i really hate mud and flats.

at the end of punggol, sengkang flat fields. malaysia still the nicest to ride. join the slackriders newbie trail with ah guang. the best of terrain. Nusa also nice. Still looking for a nice place to ride locally.

Hi. Came across this post from searching google. I'd also like to try trailing on my XR125. May I join you guys some time? Please let me know what gear to get and where and what's the cheapest yet reliable gear in I can getin SG. I'm staying in Telok Kurau by the way.
