....actually the Hayabusa comes to mind. :D

However, i have to agree with you. Only gripe is the rear is a bit skinny, although the front end would put a playboy playmate to shame.

.....

No need lar... any other Haya or 12R can do that... So many things to buy... and so little money...

I've really got enough horsepower for the little money i spend on the bike...If you divide the total cost of the bike divided by the total horsepower the bike makes... this is what i call value for money...hahah

If given the money to buy a new stock haya or 12R, I might buy an old ZX11D1 and mod it with the rest of the money... Guess what will I be riding???

Why I ride....\"Modern travelling is not travelling at all; it is merely being sent to a place, and very little different from becoming a parcel.\" -- John Ruskin

Isn't that what you have now?

Anyway, how often do us mere mortals manage to utilise ALL the power of our bikes anyway?

I am sure there are many who have already tried this bike, but to those considering this is my 2 cents worth.......

+ PRICE, currently with all the newer and more powerful machines so price is low.... :deal:

+ may be old but the grunt is still awesome (to me it is anyway) :bouncefire:

+ lazy gearing, can stick it any gear and it won't complain (within reason) :thumb:

+ Stealth bike: No body bothers you...... they think you uncle riding old bike. :shades:

- clunky gearbox! :nono:

- expensive washers (hahah... yes S$7.90 each. Other parts probably also equally scary) :pity:

- Engine runs hot (not overheat.... just hot enough to bother you in traffic)

- Heavy!!! esp with full tank of petrol

- Most newer machines will leave you for dead in the twisties, many will in the straights too....

I used to own one of these monsters during it's heyday. 1993 ZX11D1. Plate FK7434G (Any lucky fella in here?)

The front forks are equipped with Racetech Emulators with Muzzy's progressive rate springs, rear shock is changed to an aftermarket adjustable one, front brake discs are race spec cast iron rotors, braided hoses front & back, muzzy's titanium 4-1, air filter, custom velocity stacks, rejetted, carbon fibre tail section, Vance & Hines Powerpak. Just some of the things I remembered doing to the bike.

To existing owners of this machine, go for the suspension tweaks. The weak points of this bike are only 2. Suspension is CRAP!! HeavyWeight makes it difficult to negotiate bends & also stopping is a MAJOR problem with the momentum of the weight pushing the bike.

I had no chance to see this bike here, only my friend from Ipoh. Looking for K&N air filter also need to wait 3 weeks to come.

This bike really power full, my S4 had big had time to chase them, heavy is the only draw back, they some time need a helping hand to push out from the parking slot.
