i'm gonna test out full capacity of our fuel tank. currently running ard 30km/l. and mileage's 150. if our fuel tank's 8litres. i should have ard 90km left. so let's see if i can reach home frm sch (ard 80km to and fro) w/o having to push my bike. :lol:

Wah...commit suicide ah? Haha...I pushed bike once after emptying my Daystar's tank after going 562km :cheeky:

Should prepare a bit of spare petrol on your bike if attempting :sweat:

waaaah... bro... u really going to try ar?? as wat S.K. says... get a bottle of spare before trying... hahahaha... maybe all the way is ur fuel meter spoil leh?? hahahaha... shows got many petrol left but actually not??

 

my idling very high liao.. time for me to go wash carb... if not ask rae help mi adjust~~ hahahaha...

 

i am going to spray my bike on the early nov... hee hee... who wana join us... tell u all the date later... :smile:

Rae, i think you've already attempted the full dried off petrol thingy that u mentioned earlier! But if you haven, best to have a tank of petrol ready in your box. I tell you this because i experience it twice before.

 

That time my fuel gauge spoil, so i happily ride without knowing it till my tank really empty :giddy: Some more that time my unit at tekong and i took the road around changi airport. U know the long road where there is nothing there! Hehe push my bike till sian!

 

Then in the end hail a cab, went to petrol kiosk, bought a tin of petrol and ride back with the uncle asking is that petrol that u are carrying? I just smile and act blur! Hehe :cheeky: Luckily that time got money, if no money, got to push till the next day cause that time i just going back home from camp. :sweat:

eh..i might be spraying bike as well. see how it goes. thiknnig of spraying bike to kawa green or ktm orange. :lol:

 

btw...to all who are concerned abt my 'trial', i'm using mileage calculation. should be quite safe.

dun trust my fuel gague either. after 150km it's still showing half tank. now it's 1/4 tank.

 

oryx>> i've not tried this stunt yet. first attempt. did it with my shadow once though.

Rae... trust me... KTM orange will be nice!!! then with black foor rest will be nicer... with black stickers lagi nicer... with off road tire and FMF pipe will be the best!!! hahahaha... :cheer:

kinda sianz of my black 'cracking' paint. btw..is there matt orange paint?? dun tihkn i'll go with glossy(though it's nicer)...too much work. :lol:

Rae... mine is matt green remember?? actually is shiny green... but i spray somekinda lacquer over it to look matt... u want one day we can go buy paint together... they have... so if u want a matt orange paintwork... i can help~~ hee hee... :smile: but i feel that a bring orange will be nice... with a matt floorboard... wat do you think??

to prevent it from cracking... it is better to have a layer of clear lacquer over it... does not see mine cracking... :p well... we just got to do it under the hot sun though... maybe can DIY under ur block too... :smile:

 

Oryx... u spray for wat?? hahahaha... let mi suggest... u change it to a XR model... just paste XR 125 can liao... :p
