I'm not so sure. could be carb issue, could also be that the bike too old. you may consider bringing it to the recommended bike shop for a check. For us here, we can olny guess hehe But IMO i think its either the carb or the elctricals in ur bike

maybe ur 2t pump spoil alreadi....

 

i did have the same problem b4... just dat my sparkplug didn't blow... only the head of the plug always turn black very fast cos of the 2t....

 

better haf dat problem fix... if not might have a hard time starting bike....

Lao K is good lar... trust mi... but y am i riding a skipper now?? cos i have u all this whole bunch of guys playing with mi!! and i am am enjoying it!! hahahaha...

 

mutu... if ur 2T pump leak and sparkplug blow... for mi is i find that it is ur carb izssue... the mixture is not right for 2t... air... and fuel... causes too rich in 2t which makes the plug foul... if ur 2t leak... better go check can liao... sparkplug foul most prob is carb bah... wire issue is minimal... because u can still move... if u canot move at all after changing sparkplug... it will be electrical issue... no electric go to ur sparkplug... hahahaha... my thinkning

but for ur case..how does it leak?? check on the seals and tubing. i do suspect tt it's rich mixture that f ur spark plug up. and might even cause ur leaking prob.

like wat oryx said...check with motordiam. meanwhile..try to a little 2T into petrol tank. in case 2T stopped feeding and u might risk jamming ur piston.

Steng... if u are looking at a second hand one... u can try looking at sunrise... cos i have been there to change one before so i know they have... pricing should be ok... affordable bah... if new one ar... i do not know the cost...

I kenna fined for excess fumes emission. Can anyone advise if i could appeal or something? I was caught on video according to the letter fr ministry of enviironment. Idiots. Fined $70. Can I appeal? My bike passed inspection and white smoke is inevitable.... i think it's 12 yr old and got 2T what~!

never encountered this ENV thing before. and i would say it's difficult to appeal cos there's evidence. can try the following.

 

1) go motordiam try fix prob. then go for inspection. back with inspection letter. (do not tell inspection ppl tt u were caught for the offence to prevent biased inspection rept)

2) write appeal letter stating tt wat you have stated on passing inspection and bike being old and yada yada....can try state that you had done necessary to troubleshoot and prevent re-occurance or such issue. (not too sure if it helps but at least this to show tt u have put in effort after getting letter)

3) seek help frm mp like wat most bikers do here. (best to bring along supporting docs)

 

meanwhile....to prevent further brushes with authorities, go seek motordiam to do the necessary troubleshoot.

sel sel... wat bike u riding?? how come got white smoke... guess the mixture in ur carb also no good... better go check also... regarding the fine of 70... no matter how u still have to go inspection after u pay the 70... guess u will receive the inspection letter soon also... friend got caught before... so total up to around 100... sorry to inform u that..

hi there, dont waste ur time and money le... they wont let u go! i got a friend kanna too, second day after inspection passed. go appeal also no use, all being video. wanna apppeal, pay money to see video tat they shoot lor. but after see the video also need to pay!

 

and u need to go for another inspection too.

 

guess it might be ur 2t pump spoil or exhaust carbon build up. if u r lucky, maybe just ur 2t cable need to adjust.
