Alvin, change gear oil ON lah..but we need tools to take out the back wheel for gear oil change leh...and it'll be messy...where we do these?? Your home? :cheeky:

charging whole night shouldn't be a prob. depends very much on the rate tt u charge at.

 

i dun mind sharing one bottle of gear oil. but how much to pour? if it's 90ml as mentioned...1 small bottle's more than enuff for all of us. can keep some to lube belt. :lol:

oryx>> gotto mod the handguard if i'm not wrong. i wun do it unless i can find one @ $10 or under. cos once modded u cant sell it off or use for other bikes.

 

 

btw..skipper belt feels much better than runner belt. more responsive and u dun feel the skip as on runner belt.

No need to mod the handguard also can! Cause the guy at chong aik just screwed on the whole thing to my runner's head haha! :smile:

can we put balancer on the handlebar area? do we need to lube the belt or something? there's no oil in the engine area except for the gear oil u guys talking about right? how often do we need to change it? what's the consumption like for u people? for me 110km i pump 4.2L. is it ok? how to decrease the consumption?

haha depends on the type of charger. the ones uses by motordiams are for car batteries, usually 10+ Amps. I have a small trickle charger than delivers only 1A. Great for topping up charge, and for charging new batteries GENTLY. Motordiams usually just whack for 30mins - 1 hr. you're supposed to do it slowly the first time round. Like prom night hahah.

wat do you mean by leaking ? after filling up petrol will leak? did u fill to brim? if so tank will overflow frm pipe juz above air filter.

 

if it leaks when parked. check ur fuel tank for lobangs and fuel line for cracks. might be carb overflow too...which means ur autochoke needs to be changed?

 

to be safe...bring down to mechanic for routine checks.

yup...leak when i park main stand...thats why i feel like getting a side stand if its possible. if i pump too much or something like keep dripping until a point then it'll stop. can't really know where to stop the pump man...sian..

Phatish, if main stand causes leak...Idon't see why parking on one side will stop the leakage. :sweat:
