xiaoguy, if you don't mind DIY, open up your front headlight to check whether the speedo meter cable detached from the meter. This happened to my Skipper and I just opened it up and use scotch tape to stick it back...has been working fine

yesterday i did check the cable when i change another second hand meter and it's still not working.... i think the cable inner was broke. i will get another new speedo cable later in the afternoon... thanks for the advise SK I.

sell/ no sell also no big deal

only 350 to keep it each year for tax/ins/parking lol

just want to find a good home for it

 

using it for short rides around home

while my ta200 is for longer rides to Changi nasi lemak lol

2b bikes cheap to maintain lah

 

the above shop has some 2nd hand skipper parts

u might want to check with them

they scrap bikes for customers and keep good parts

$25 at ah boy's. but gotto charge batt first.

 

i think it's better for u to kickstart ur bike and ride. batt might get charge in process and u can save $$ on new batt.

hi guys, am back. was not in town for the past few days. i got the new cable for the speedo meter and it was fine now....... went to Hock Ann's scrap yard and found all the things i wanted and it is very cheap indeed!! thanks for the help and advise fellow skipper riders!!
