anyway...fingers crossed..hope to be riding there too! anyway..nothing great..looks like a WWII bike man now with putty, antirust paint, and w/o fairing. :lol:

was juz telling kilkenny tt i've been sleeping @ 5am everyday....now got kakis liao. :lol:

 

btw...will not be riding there. bike's @ shop now. did whatever i know..the rest requires experience which i seriously lack. :sweat:

Went Taihin today, cause scoot very diff to start when its cold, but no problem when its warm up. This problem happen ever since I did carb wash at Botak place one month ago.

 

The middle age mech check by using the kick start and told me my scoot no power to crank (I think he meant lost compression). Need to change piston, piston rings and gasket. The old piston has a lot of carbon and its very worn out, but after change still unable to fire up.

 

The mech took the carb out and check the fuel level in the float bowl and bent the float tang because fuel level is too low, check the main and pilot jets all screw tight, check and adjust the air screw and idling. Install back, one click the bike fire up.

 

I try just now when the bike is cold it fire up with a click. Taihin mech did a good job :thumb:

glad its all fixed. juz wondering...have you solved your fork problem? i'm pretty interested in that. :lol:

Sorry guys cant meet up today cause my scoot broke down again.

 

Ride halfway suddenly the engine cut off, now totally unable to start, will have to call tow truck to send to TaiHin on monday. I suspect its piston jam. Damm it. :giddy:
