But haynes manual is available on market. 50+

In this case, I think you should give taihin a try.

Taihin is at rangoon road. directly oposite suzuki agent.

400+ not ex lah.

It consist of a newclutch set. out pulley.

So if you split by 2 is 200+.

Then u get a second hand set at 100. So around there lor.

Plus labor also mah.

but uncle lacer is right. where got people change outer rear pulley one?

Unless yours is badly worn out or badly scarred.

What????? every half year need to change????????????

that is nonsense. The only thing need to change preiodically is your belt and rollers.

maybe you take a look at this picture first and tell me which part is change

http://www.gilerarunner.8m.com/maintainence_belt.jpg

Is the part that is changed looks like something that is at the rear wheel?

he kana con liao lah !!!!

even the clutch shoe will take forever to be wearoff mah.

as for the clutch bell. the only time need to change is when those teeth that holds the drive shaft start to wear off.

Sorrie ya dun know how to quote so just cut n paste...........

For the clutch shoe, i think your mechanic change is bo bian one loh. Coz from wat i know the clutch bell for new skipper is bigger n cannot fit inside the old clutch shoe of a piaggio skipper 125. So must change to a "bigger" model of clutch shoe. This is what i kana last time. Then see the mechanic has to saw/cut my "engine cover" to fit the clutch shoe inside.

But can someone tell me how long clutch bell will last???

thanxs

woa lao !

u know how to cut and paste the ans but don't know how to read it !!:giddy:

as for the clutch bell. the only time need to change is when those teeth that holds the drive shaft start to wear off.etc if u need to change the belt , check the clutch shoe or change the torque spring.it depend on how often u remove the clutch bell loh.oh there is still 1 more factor. if u had mod it scoot and ur riding style is very aggressive, the clutch bell teeth will also wear off faster.

does that ans ur question !!

even if u r right abt the clutch bell. u will only need to do it once nia mah . but he say every half year need to change the whole set !! don't u find it fishy !!. somemore change second hand one. what make u think that the second hand part was not used more then half year , contridicting right ????.

er !

i think u r wrong this time.

it is true some skipper r using smaller clutch bell.( think it's the earliar models.)

last time when i want to polish my trans cover, jackye try to fit a skipper trans cover on my dragster. it didn't fit. the skipper tans cover cannot fit because my clutch bell was blocking it.:giddy:

Hehe, wanna bet?

You use a dragster/runner 180 engine and try to fit a skipper cover.

Of course cannot lah. The screw and the depth of the transmission housing is

different.

What I'm saying is the internal parts. Carbs-same. variator-same, clutch-same, bell same, pulley-same. belt-same. Roller is different weight. but diemnsion is same.

Simple. Just compare the malossi part no. and piaggio part number. They are the same. Of course the engine casing is different.

Brudder.

The Key is part number.

Stupid statement from me. But a malossi part number or paiggio part number,

will not have different part number on the same thing.

IF a part from skipper and runner is different, eg variator,

the won't have the same part number.

eg. Runner 2stroke, italjet dragster 180, skipper 125, typhoon 125

uses the same malossi variator p/n:5111258

thanks frend. but at there change belling cheap leh. $40+ hee.... btw BLACK COMET u got the full add of the bike shop that name tai hin bikeshop. if im not wrong.:cheeky: what is the opening hrs?

bluther !

nearly kana smoke by u liao lah !!

ok ! i found out only the last badge of skipper r using the same trans as runner nia.

the older badges used smaller clutch system lah.

BUT i also found out that the older badge can simply change the trans cover to be able to fit in the bigger clutch system .

so in order to use malossi or after market parts just change the the trans cover can liao.:thumb:

BTW the smaller clutch system is no longer available.

hehe.

IC IC. My mistake :cheeky:

I'm data person. Just crunch info and process only.

Guess I'm just half right. Sorry sorry.

I think I over crunch data recent. I think I almost go haywire already.

Now the missing link to the jigsaw puzzle is out.

The so call MKII variator, pulley and clutch unit is actually a

runner set. Interesting.

These are the following spec I've found

http://www.scootertune.com/gilera/spec.htm

Seem like they share alot of common parts.

Rollers are the same for stroke runner, dragster.

Skipper uses another dimension and wieght.

But what interest me is that the belts all are 22 x 828

So final equations. Runner/dragster and later batch of skippers

uses the same belts, variator, pulley and clutch systems.

Can a runner transcover fit into a skipper?

yessss!!!!!!! data! data! More data!!!!!! :slurp:
