well i always think that the best mechanic dont exist - becos the best mechanics are ourselves cos only we would do the best jobs possible for our babies! but sadly most of us aint mechanics or just dun have enough technical knowledge to DIY.

Wah! Jus wondering, i was riding back from work around 10.20 pm along the ECP jus now and a girl riding a black skipper went pass and overtake me! She was wearing a fullface helmet! Other then Myusha and Xue, is there anyother lady riders that ride skipper? I tried to chase after the rider but the damn car infront of me and on my sides block my way she was riding at around 90 - 95 km/hr as i was riding my bike at 85km/hr liao!

By the time i manage to catch up, she exited liao! Myusha, was that u?

anyway, how long have u been to taihin?

 

sigh so not i'm not sure if its the clips and rollers or not... hmmm....

 

say... i noticed my braking power is alot less than my previous bike (wr200) is this the norm for skippers? it makes me think i would need better braking power if i were to go any faster heheh

HOw long i have been to taihin? Well.... So far, i been motordiam hopping since i got my bike but so far, the most extensive work was done at Taihin. for the rest, i onli did simple changes like exhaust, batteries and stuffs but at taihin, i did a so called engine overhaul or rather engine check and changed quite a lot of stuffs hehehe. For your info, i've only been to Taihin once to service my bike but in my opinion, the service there and workmanship there is better than the other bike shops that i've been to. maybe becos they specialize in auto bikes. Not that i'm carrying their torch or anything

if ur carb was running well before u went for washing. then the problem is easier to solve.

it's either the mech did not tune the carb properly , or there might be some problem with the auto choke . get someone to tune the carb again and see if the needle setting was the same as before .

i went to the shop to have my carb washed.... the mech told me dunno what n what spoilt.... i forgot the names

 

then i called another shop to ask whether they sells those things inside the carb.... but he told me better dun change first, ask me to bring my bike down to their shop to check first.... if those things really gone case then change....

mine is a red 1.... and i dun have a full face helmet...

i seldom go up to 90... normally is ard 70-80 lidat.... unless i have to overtake some cars or something

And if the road is empty without cars @ night, i'll ride a bit more faster....

So i think if that's me... i will see u zooming pass me

went to malaysia ah boy shop....but i ask them if i wanna change color...not air brush... they quote me ard 500 ringgit

was thinking of airbrush at first.... but after some advice or rather comments... change my idea.... maybe stickers would be better.

i might be going to lee huat or maybe soon motor to check on my bike....

 

went to these places quite a number or times.... think they are more xperienced with skippers... becos i have to work... plus i lazy.... so till now never go down yet...

i got mine from fella forumer insane. his pic is posted with his ad in garage sale. i'm still tihknnig if i should repaint cos paint on bike pretty new.

Ok saw the pic posted by insane! wah damn chio sia! Too bad the grey part is dirty! maybe you can sent the grey parts for painting? Cause from the picture, i can see that the paintwork is still quite nice. No need airbrush lohz! Just need to paint the grey parts and the bike will look like new! So far, hows the handling?

went there few times already.... but its the malaysian fellow who did the repairs and stuffs.... find the old man a bit attitude.... dare not talk to him, but find the rest of the people inside very friendly ^^... shall try n approach the old man.. since many say he's a better mechanic.... but for the parts... i dont find it too expensive oso....

my bike is giving me problems today.... like got alot of sound lidat.... was sort of crazy yesterday.... went up to 100km/h..... then today morning cannot start bike try the kick start... but dunno how to use it.... after ard 5 to 10 mins... i finally figured out how to use the kick start.... then... lucky for me.... the bike can start
