Hi,

When you buy and register your bike, do you need to use your home address? Isit possible to use another address (ie. Your friend's address?)

Thanks!

Register under your friend's name then add you as sub-rider but of course your friend better be reliable one ah because lets say if you touchwood got problem with your friend ultimately he is the owner of the bike he can say you stole the bike then all the legal **** arises

Why would you want to do that? Your nationally-registered address is centrally captured. This information is shared with all relevant government authorities, including but not limited to LTA, ICA, SPF, HDB, CPF, MAS, IRA, etc.

Perhaps what you might be asking for is a different CORRESPONDENCE address? If so, then some might allow you to "change" this to something in-lieu of your REGISTERED address. Though many would ask for your reason why and require a proof-of-address.

Register under someone's name or relative which you can trust then you can get to register under that person's address...also when insurance...that person will be the main owner and you the subrider and only rider if the main person bo license.....also when you do transfer....dont forget to tell ur new owner that the lta customer service will be calling to verify the transaction...then after all that...go hdb and apply for the concessionary season parking ticket for that bike...which allows u to park at all white motorcycle hdb lots even with those with gantries....and most URA car parks except for some.... can check here for the list of excluded carparks... http://www.hdb.gov.sg/cs/infoweb/car-parks/season-parking/concessionary-season-parking-ticket-for-motorcycles

I do know those hdb carparks beside stadium ones not included so beware ...and all for the price of $20...

Maybe you need to do this coz you do not want some pple to know you have bike...

or you love to park your bike everywhere as long got white lots....

or your area got a few multi storey carparks and you want to let your bike feel all the multi storey carpark lots....

the list is endless...but happy parking!

I ride at 70km/hr only...please please dont blow2 at me or overtake me dangerously....wait i change into Incredible Hulk n dont know why my little baby bike will always be ahead of u if u do that
