 it's kind of a dilemma, coz like i said e other time, every time i put on the cam, i hope i dun bump into some idiotic things!:faint:

what we get, we show. what we dun get, is what we dun get. :cheeky:

haben been uploading my vids for a while, playing with a more power editor, see if i can draw on my vids, then can pinpoint hazards, one by one..

lol...HOV comes in handy when you are filming...

just something to point out...imho... Hazard Oriented Vision and Action.... reacting correctly and promptly to possible hazard is the next important thing after spotting them....

This idea (in bold italic) is worth looking into... endlessloop, Pplater, s4^dreamer and the rest of the HOV team.. what do you guys think?

JackOHJack and lutein can record their rides for this purpose. Open for discussion. :thumb::thumb:

sounds good to me. But depends on whether our editing pro aka JackOhJack got time to do liao. He chionging FYP leh... Busy man :thumb:

You are spot on coolthought. Our reactions to hazards spotted depends on our risk acceptance level. Some people react more quickly and strongly to possible risk; others react in a nonchalant manner. This depends on personal preference liao. But the key is still to spot them early, then we can deal with it in the manner of our choosing. So we will always be in control, not the ah cek who didn't see us, the lorry driver who was in a rush, the punkster who was smsing, or the blur queen who was applying makeup.

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

Hi endlessloop, Spectrum, xXxRatedxXx, contrarian and Ian,

Hope I did get your names/nick correct.

Thanks for your time and contributions for facilitating this HOV workshop to make riding safer for bikers like us.

Really appreciative as you guys spend your precious Saturday morning to teach motorcycling safety to pple you didn't even know.

Did benefit from learning scanning techniques, lane positioning, dealing with tailgaters and the wonderful sharing sessions. I was able to apply it immediately on my ride home.

Not only I got answers, but questions to think about safety, that I haven't thought about before.

Oh yes, I forgot to put in my cashcard as I passed the gantry, too. How much do I have to pay the govt?

btw, I'm Jang. The guy wearing the red nike human race shirt.

it's something like S$70 i think?

what i do is just stick my cash card in as long as i'm any where around town even on a sunday

coz my memory's not good enough to remember where and when the gantries are in operation

and in case i need to enter any carparks :)
