Xr650 L/r

Hi, would like to know the difference btw this 2 model XR650L and XR650R ie which is best suited for which type of riding? maintence? Fuel Comsumption? etc

 

 

i like the XR650R better, considering this bike,as my 2nd bike if budget allows, any idea if any body or motorshop let go?

I understand there is no more 1st hand izzit? how come they discontinued?

Similarities end with part of the name "XR650". Everything else is different. 650R was designed by a Baja racer for desert racing. 650L is a rather tame dual sport bike.
