Fren dragged me into language school to learn new language.

 

We eventually settled on learning Spanish, because I found out that the Credits can ALSO be used at the CC.

 

And because CC courses are way cheaper, and there is no other place to learn Spanish.

 

So all in all, I managed to claim $380, the full school fees for learning Spanish at a Language School.

 

And will use the remaining $120 to maybe take up another language at the CC, or even to offset a course teaching me how to sew.

 

I hope next year they give us some more of that credits, so I can use it to offset another Legal Certificate Course. It can be used for certain courses in Poly and University too.

Plus, I am just taking it, so that eventually, I might be able to speak to my nephew and nieces in Spanish. They live in California, and sooner or later, they have to pick up the language too. Like how their father did.

Err yes......may not be able to afford pilot lessons yet.

 

But the Skills Future Grant, does support Remote Control Helicoptors and Planes Lessons at the CC.

 

Which is a necessary skill if you want to take up Helicoptor Flying.

Actually, sometimes, the more you know....the more frighten you are of people.

 

Example.

 

Work until late and tired. Got into a first date's car.

 

Dozing in the car, until that fella try to get a conversation going by:

 

Him: I hope you are not frightened.

Me: Huh? Why? (Groggy still)

Him: I am a racer and I drive fast.

Me: Er Ok, you trained at Pasir Gudang? (Eyes flick to speedometer to find it hovering around the 80 plus km/hr range)

Him: No. I am self trained Racer.

Me: At least you trained in a drift pan? (I did defensive driving training a bit. And that's where I got panicky.)

Him: No. I can handle situations, never had an accident.

Me: ..... (Start making sure seatbelt is secured, and left hand automatically gripped the side of the door.)

 

**I Liked to also mention, that is not his car, he borrowed it from his friend to "impress" the females.**

I emailed a certain flying club about joining.

but when I got to asking if they also prvoide the RC plane,

I don't receive replies anymore

so I think you need to have your own heli or plane

but you know, now that there are drones,

I dont think you'd be interested in conventional heli

am thinking of getting a diploma in one of the insurance subjects .... but got 7 modules. one module would finish off my SkillCredits .... if govt nv top up, haiz ..must fork out on my own for the other modules ....
