am thinking of getting a diploma in one of the insurance subjects .... but got 7 modules. one module would finish off my SkillCredits .... if govt nv top up, haiz ..must fork out on my own for the other modules .... :sweat:

 

Go for it, upgrade yourself. Ask company sponsor if you are working in a SME.

Got check whether the Course you taking is listed in WDA?

 

They probably can refund you 70-90% of the course fee if you passed it.

 

And check with the school, they also can help you take loan from banks to pay for the school fees. Especially if you do not want to be beholden to your employer.

 

Frankly, after what I had to go thru last year, just for a Legal Diploma, which the company roti prata on me. I rather take loan, do the course on my own.

nah..i'm taking Dip in Gen Insurance and Risk Mgmt , by SIC . Charged by per module .... so i think i will take the 1st module by SF Credits ... and the rest, save up for every module i intend to take .... no funding by WDA and dun think i wanna take up loan ... :(
