I just installed a 14 teeth front sprocket which i ordered from WEmotor in UK..it helps in acceleration and rpm shoots higher up than usual..i wonder if i am making any damage to my engine not..anyway does KnN air filter helps in pick up and better engine sound?

You just basically did a radical change to the final drive ratio. I take it, from what you are describing you went to a smaller front sprocket.

More torque on the low end, fast to rev and quick to flatten out = good pickup with no top end. Will need a higher rpm to sustain the same speed = higher consumption.

But if you got the money = no problem coz over revving = worn cam chains, valves and piston rings.

You cannot have the best of both worlds, its one or the other.

Acceleration versus fuel economy.

Yup u r right good pick up with no top end...but u know gear 6 actually becomes very useful and it takes much shorter time to reach top speed  can i know does this simple mod causes piston jam or whatever? I dun realli know much as i am new to riding...

Just don't over rev the bike too much.

Try short shifting... change gears without dragging too long in each of the lower gears. Drag only on the 4th, 5th and 6th gears... then the possibility of over revving the engine is remote.

Your bike got tacho anot? If got, then don't let the rpm indicator go into the redzone, you will be ok.

The highest rpm i went was onli 10 and i don't dare to go further so is this ok? and can u specifically tell me more about the damages done to engine if i were to over rev? thanks!

The cam chain will suffer the most. Over revving can cause the cam chain to jump a tooth or more on the cams and what follows are bent valves and damaged pistons.
