Furthermore there is no oil or air filter so the oil gets dirty fast with the road dust and metal particles from the mashing gears :giddy: I heard the bearing also will weaken after 2-3 yrs cos of this crankcase situation... hope somebody can confirm,,,

There is air filter lah.

so my only contribution is ; USE THE REV COUNTER :) Thks

What should we do with it?

No oil filter but turns out there is mesh one in right crankcase as in the other thread someone pointed out... the fuel petcock should be in-line fuel filter ?

There is air filter lah.

ahaha sorry my bad , forgot to mention mine is modded , no sponge air filter, modded airbox ( I think previous owner did some cutting & gluing)... sucks in air fast but lotsa dust too :giddy: ... and loose fitting where header comes out the engine block, at high revs can hear abit the exhaust blowing out there LOL. My acceleration good but FC no good :dozed:

What should we do with it?

Oh re the rev counter (tachometer?) , in the other thread YBR lovers , someone mentioned the max torque at 6.5K for gear chg, but personally better not grind up till that high to change, perhaps 5K - 5.5K is enough, with a fast release of clutch (but not TOO fast) for max acceleration. take care !

Motard Man >> MZ Motorradd << where can i get one ?

Erm. wtf? Racing footrests? Hm.

I suppose if you really desire to mod your YBR for speeds and crazy corners... Then you will want to change your handlebars to something lower, straighter. Something that gives you a more aggressive posture.

TBH, the bike isnt really meant for racing. It has a very, very comfortable sitting posture. It kind of reminds me of when i am sitting on my dining chair, arms extended over my dining table.
