if it does save lives why not. Personal safety should be top priority!

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

hi guys in discussin of FF, what is the appropriate helmet. Well you dont see a hayabusa with a cheap $80 FF helmet, and rarely or never at all yet we see a cub with a FF arai (maybe abit overkill)

so for a naekd bike like superfour what is the appropriate FF helmet. threres debates of nolan, HJC, shoei, arai, akuma, KBC and more.

For a chopper like steed whats the appropriate helmet?

ita just athought. Any comments?

Nothing is overkill if it doesnt kill you. But cheap helmet does.

My comments are based on 'its a free world', one can choos to wear whatever they choose and you are RIGHT a cheap helmet can kill!! I dont dispute that la bro. Perhaps to me safe riding (not speeding) is a bit too much for a real expensive helmet unless, like how i got hit! that damn $$$$$$$!!!!!

But not everyone can afford a good solid helmet, morever cheap helmets also have psb label irregardless whether it can save us or not. I am not saying psb labels are crap. You see my point now.

So whats the appropriate helmet that makes a rider on a naked bike like S4, gsr. monster or even steed, phantom feel sound and look good.

Dont say about any racing bike la, with that power between the legs, there are lots of really good helmets (& fierce lookin FF) would look super on it not to mention would be really appropriate (sound).

Not to step on anyones toes or anything, but these are just my thoughts after upgrading from a 150 to a 400 and theres a huge power/weight difference.

Also folks keep inmind that the best hlmet may not save one's life as body : ( bigger portion is vulnerable and i was really really really really lucky.

my full-faced helmet juz saved me today.

travelling from TPE going towards SLE.

There was a huge wooden pole 1.5m in length. around 15cm high, lying right smack in the center of the extreme left lane. travellin at 70km/hr. no time to siam coz i was in the center of lane also n going downslope. bike went over the pole, flew n slided almost 10metres (from one lamp post to the pther). First contact with the ground was my CHIN.

never take helmet safety for granted. else i wont be typing here already.

=)

i was riding a spark 135. goin like damn slow already only 70km/hr. maybe coz downslope la.. majority of my injuries were abrasions on both knuckles, right hand and right shoulder..

if i were wearing a half-faced helmet i think by now i will become half-face already.cant imagine my chin sliding on the road for almost 10metres...

I just rode to work wearing a FF today, I have to say it wasnt as uncomfy as the hype says it would be.

The only problem for me was that I couldnt see my controls and had to lower my head a little to see the side mirrors.

Anyone else have the same prob, Im riding an X1

Yea FF reduces visibility quite a bit. Pros and cons I guess.

I'm using a FF that has a lift up front. It protects the head yet allows relief from the heat when you stopped at traffic light. Fixed full-faced helmet can be really hot during the day.

Give it all your best & a little bit more...

i'm using a shoei hornet, its a dual sport fullface, like scram but with visor, and the peak can be removed.

It got really good view as the visor area quite large and its not stuffy like racing type.

I wear it everyday and totally recomend it.

I like arai tourcross too, as its mouth is not so far like scrambler. And its great comfort to wear everyday...

But the price....
