Hi I'm planning a ride to penggarang for myself and a couple of friends. First ride there , so was wondering if any lao jiaos have been there before and can help me to answer some queries that i have. My friends and I ride phantom, is the journey tehre ok for phantom? what kind of preparation to make before the journey? where to stay over nite there if we need to and is it safe to park our bikes there? thanks so much fr the help

www.mapmyrun.com would help you plan your route, long journey for ta unless you're familiar with troubleshooting, or else its a gamble. Another gamble is to be in m'sia with your bikes, but few target phantoms so you make the choice.

Penggarang can be a one day trip. From JB only about 2-3 hr with fuel stop and rest. No need for an over night stay.

 

Along the way is a fruit farm(foc) and near to sungei rengit is an ostrich farm but must pay(about rm5/pax).

 

A few seafood resturants at sg rengit/penggarang, price wise is standard for Malaysia.

 

Get a map or a gps and you wont get lost. Happy ridding.

 

Take necessary precautions, double lock your bikes in MY. And bring extra key for bike in case you misplace it.

After exit from the causeway, you keep to the right and at the turn at the first U turn. Turn left into J wong ah fook. Travel 1.5km keep right to go into Route 3.

 

Travel 40km along route 3 toward kota tinggi, do not enter kota tinggi town, turn right to route 92.

 

Travel 67km along route 92 will end with a T junction, this is J52, turn right less then 1km is sg rengit where all the seafood resturants are, by pass the town will be penggarang(20km away).

 

If at the T junction you turn left(around 3 km away) is the ostrich farm on the right hand side of the road.

 

Total distance to seafood place is around 110km from custom.

There a trip to Penggarang this sunday organise by someone. Maybe you can join them for a day outing. They are a bunch of nice guy/gal. Make more travelling kaki.

do u noe how to ride to desaru..? follow the same route till u see the petronas. See petronas turn left is go desaru. just go straight all the way till the end..i tink u will reach ramunia. turn right all the way straight u will reach pengerang jetty.. going back u can just follow the same way. or if u more adventurous go straight to batu layar.
