yes, u must display coupon.

It said Day AND Night parking. The mentioned time, 8.30am-10pm is for day. 10pm-8.30am will be night

den wat is the purpose of stating the time. . . we already know DAY is 7am - 10.30pm. and NIGHT is 10.30pm - 7am.... kind of misleading. I thought only need to display between the time stated. Is there a forum topic that teaches about signboards?

Wayne: awesome article. All our support goes to you.

The list of motorcycle parking in singapore will probably be taken off Wikipedia - its admins are discussing now and the way it looks, it'll probably lose its fight. i don't totally see why, seeing as there are lists such as "list of radio stations in south carolina"

However, i am endeavouring to place it in sgwiki - hopefully it has more clout to stay there, at least.

Actually I think you're mistaken.... since the time is stated as 8.30am to 10pm, it means only need to put coupon for day!

 there is a stretch of bike parking at circular road that states Day parking, 8-5pm. something like that. This is free parking at nite.

I think long time ago the parking coupon for bike is different, that's why they put Day & Night Parking 8.30am to 10.00pm.

Nowadays the Day parking tab covers 7.00am to 10.30pm, but they have not replaced the signage.

Well, that's good news.

What's left is for someone to visit Vivocity, park there and report back here as to the charges & type/level of parking lots available!

Hmm... here's my experience.

LOTS and LOTS of jam... from Telok Blangah Road jammed all the way till vivocity.

2 carpark entrance. from sentosa direction, you will see an entrance on ur left. AVOID that. bikes are parking on the pavement at this point. continue go straight and you'll see a left filter. This leads to the 2 BIG CARPARKS: Basement and above ground.

2 lanes leading to carpark entrance. Width of the road not bad so bikes can easily squeeze through although there's a jam. Carpark attendant smiled at me and guided me to carpark.

1 complain: No individual bike lots so you have to park your bike anywhere that's not obstructing traffic. I choose the cosy spot underneath the ramp which is near the entrance to shopping mall.

MAJOR TURNOFF: Although it's FREE, the barrier obstructing is TOO LONG. My entry into the carpark was a test of skill as I had to steer left and right to avoid it. The exit was @#$%#$ up. I hit my mirror against the barrier. lucky it's soft.

Conclusion: No fees needed, high ceiling (so you won't feel stuffy and sweating when looking for a lot), clean ground (the one at Marina Sq was so oily and smooth that I couldn't release my main stand), friendly easy entry via wide roads to carparks, NO IDIVIDUAL BIKE LOTS, BARRIER IS TOO LONG.

I'm riding a Bajaj Pulsar 180. Class 2A and 2 prepare to close or bang your mirrors.

Hope this helps

ORD LOH!!!
