Recall for owners of CB400S . If your VIN number falls within the following numbers:

 

JH2NC399*6M200603 to JH2NC399*6M201227

The fuel valve for motorcycles in the list above may need to be replaced.

 

Please contact Boon Siew Singapore to arrange for inspection and if necessary, replacement.

What if its a P.I bike? Still go to boon siew?

Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at an Elingsh uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer is at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a toatl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae we do not raed ervey lteter by it slef but the wrod as a wlohe

thanks for the info, mine happened to be one of the recalled bike.

i went down to boon siew yest and got it fixed le.

May 2005 - July 2007: Honda Phantom TA200 (FU 3*** S)

Hi ! All,

Today goto boon siew for fuel valve recall. Ard 1/2 hr to fix it.

Before fuel valve replacement can smell petrol when bike stopping & parked, now no more smell. The reason for recall bcoz of the original fuel valve leaks.

Jun90-EX5, July94-K1, Aug98-Kriss1, Aug05-Wave125, Apr07-TA200, Jun08-Spec3, Feb09-REVO, Nov11-CBR250R, Jan14-CBR400R.
