ya meter light blue colour.. neway im looking for a head fairing. not so big one... a small wan like s4 or maybe if rxz HF cn fit it wud also be nice. got HF easi to put a rag to clean xcess water or petrol spills. so troublesome if put underseat jus to wipe 1 drop need to do so many steps. and also n a belly pan.... any1 noe wher to find?

ya it looks empty indeed. i oso finding 1 n the head fairing. i tink jus need to look at ahboi, or any shop dat sells bike acessories, which i dunno wher, or jb.... dun matter if local set. jus aesthetics mah.... if interior parts den go for ori. hong leong got sell, but ori set n cost a bomb. ard 100 plus

Hi guys, I just joined this forum but I've been reading the threads since day 1. Haven't got my 2B yet (12 Feb), but I've fallen in love with this baby Fazer. I've been driving past riders riding this bike and I really wish I will own it soon enough.

 

As I'm only 19+ male and assuming I pass my license, roughly how much will it cost for me to get this bike on the road (inclusive of let's say current COE price and typical insurance)?

 

Can someone explain to me how to go about purchasing a first-hand bike as this is my first time buying a bike? Anyway, I've no intentions of upgrading bike class, so yup. FZ150i's really my final decision.

Hm, A.S. Phoon replied to my enquiry and quoted me $7964 including insurance, minimum 2K downpayment with 5% interest on loan. But the insurance he quoted me was a 2nd party fire and theft. So I assume it could be cheaper with another kind of insurance scheme? May I know what's the minimum coverage our bikes must have? Heh, thanks!

3rd party insurance is the cheapest and its minimum requirement.

 

They got give you a breakdown of the cost like machine price, insurance price and the company?

 

I would suggest you to ask ard more shops to get a better understanding of the prices.

i tink u look ard more, dun be so kanchiong buy bike... maybe if u lucky n right timing cn get a display set at 1/2 the price. display set are new set, onli on display at showroom or kept in store, or maybe test ride. onli diff is if u buy u will be 2nd owner.

My god, 2k insurance, but that's second party. I heard that NTUC offers lower rate for younger people as compared to other insurers, but still abt $1k.

 

Ya don need rush to buy bike, i got myself a YBR as "training wheels" for cheap but i find myself getting more fond of the bike, its tough! And it gets me to point A to B and then some....

 

And my bike was sabotaged once and almost stolen once, both times the damage rendered the bike un-startable, my heart ached la but not so pain as compared to if it was a brand new bike.

thanx. AFAIK that's custom made hugger. just "plug n play" in their bikes. no need to fix anything.
