Hey everyone... Fyi this bike fm 100km/h to 120km/h is super fast..... Mine click 130km/h with box.. Got try with Honda Varadero 125 (friend of mne) and loss to me by 2 lamp post @ Nicoll Highway.... 1 of my neighbour regret buying CBR150 donno why... Almost 3 weeks bought the bike but only click 170km...

The stuff they give could be a standard package now. So cant say its a gd deal or not.

hi fellow fz150i riders.. just got my bike last sat.. haha.. this bike is damn cool.. anyone can advise if it's normal to change gear when the rpm hits 5 to 5.5?

Hi all, new to this forum! i am also from india, referred here by JD666, am a biker at heart! This is my 4th bike,and i love the yamaha. I also have the R15. and if anyone is interested in making his FZ150i to look like this bike, its very much possible. i can send you the parts if you require. Let me know if anyone is interested. These bikes share a lot of parts, only the front portions are different, and the foot rests, and stand. ( mainly )

5 to 5.5 is quite high bro.... me onli hit 4k rpm i change gear already...

 

Just to share the way how i run in my bike:

 

0km~1000km: Rpm hit 4k i change gear. Top gear going on 80km/h(max).

 

1000km~1200km: Rpm hit 4.5k i change gear. Top gear going on 80km/h(max).

 

1200km~1600km: Rpm hit 4.5k for 1-4th gear. 4th gear hit 5k then i change. Top gear going on 90km/h(max).

 

1600km~2000km: Rpm hit 4.5k for 1-4th gear. 4th gear hit 5k then i change. Top gear going on 100km/h(max).

 

2000km onwards: WACK!!!!!

 

haha.... me currently onli hit 1700km.... still running in... awaiting that "Wacking" day to arrive....

 

Another thing to share with you guys is that when my mileage hit 15xxkm, I can feel the smoothness from the engine already... no more jerky feelings...

 

Btw, any Fz150i riders living in the east? Outing?

maybe u go bike production bro..... the xxphoon treat their customer like idiot one... if u dun know ur bike well... good luck... especially the ubi branch.... f up cum no manners.... repair skill sux... dun know how to fix still gey kiang one.... louusy....

Hey Frens, after going through this forum, decided to buy the bike. Till today NO REGRETS. But jus something need to share. Pls change the tyres, as the originals are "not fit" or not road worthy. I almost "skidded" jus after a lorry passed me. I was travelling at 80km and he might be doing 100km. Very dangerous. I replaced the tyres to Bridgestone Battlax BT39 (biggest 110/17). Bike performance changed drasctically. I mean it bros. Max i hit 130km, no vibrations. Smooth Rider....

that should be expected from stock tires... even though dunlop but its made in indonesia. not degrading indonesia's (or even thai n malaysia) manufacturing quality but they are inferior compared to euro or jap counterparts.

 

BT39 is a good pair of tires...planning to change to them soon too. btw how much do you pay for them??

Hi, i did source around the central locations. The cheapest i got was from "Ah Boy" shop. Total front & rear cost me 190 inclusive of the valve. The valve required to change cause original tyres are tube. You can take this as a benchmark and check around. I was also told of this shop at henderson (near the prudential building) i guess. Heard the prices were cheap, but not sure how much cheaper. That's all i have. Safe riding. Love the conering (B39 tires) after running in.
