from what i recall with our last time discussion abt PA auto or PA2, it is like a 2nd battery for your bike, allowing it to provide stable and constant power to your bike

so it should take a short while to charge, but should not take more than 2 days.. mine kicked in in less than 1 so i dun see how you think it should take so long..

are you experiencing a big difference in your engine braking?

compare it from stock to now.. there should be a huge change..

another significant change should by your gear 5... do you feel it able to pull u uphill with a lot less slowing down?

My engine braking have been greatly reduced as the torque has been higher. I hope everything will be ok after that.... hope my PA auto will be fully charged.

i'm not a pro...but i intend 2 help d others...i juz want consumers 2 satisfy w d product(our bike) ...i spend alot of time on d bike , so i know alot of things related 2 it :)

70% of my bike's mileage is on NSE...abt 2000km on mountaineous twisty roads (dat meant 4 drift) &only 15% of d mileage in spore...

My bike's running cost is abt only RM1.80 per 100km as i neva maintain in spore(except things dat r cheaper in spore)...almost 32K km &still strong like new or even better...reliable &gd fc bike :)

1000km running cost RM18 , fuel ron 95 =24ltrs / RM44.40 ... (i owez pump Ron 95 if outside JB)

2 know how 2 calculate running cost, i may share whn we meet...

where can i service my fz150i other than yamaha service center

Most of the 150i riders will go to HL cycle to service their bike. I only been there once. Quite impress by their service. So far its the best bike shop i visited. The atmosphere is also quite nice and relax unlike typical bikeshop where it is quite dark and gloomy.

u r experiencing wad i hav experienced before... problem came after 3 months, mine was new bike... according to the ex-mechanic at HLC, is the bike charging not fast enough to supply the bike... instead of change batt, he did some wiring work, like add two more wires to make the charging stronger... after tat, no more problem... even on signal light, high beam, on brake light, the headlight also won't flicker...

tat time sommetimes the tach needle will disco around 0 to 5k rpm, sometimes normal, but once i on high beam or on signal light, the disco begins. if its the same for u, u can go HLC find mec ah ler... tell him ur problem same as stepkang, last time ah lee connect 2 more wires make the charging faster, he shld know wad to do...

I installed auto. mine is now 80kmh at 6500rpm. I think i observed a while. Maybe such things need to season?

5 to 10 mins of engine running is enough to charge the pa2 or auto...

My engine braking have been greatly reduced as the torque has been higher. I hope everything will be ok after that.... hope my PA auto will be fully charged.

reduced engine braking is the most prominent effect pa has... diff bike has diff setup, even same model and make... but addtion of pa shouldn't make a bike worse, meaning shouldn't reduce ur top speed or make ur bike harder t accelerate... pls note, is compare before pa and after on ur bike, not comparing one bike to another, coz as said, diff bike, diff setup... if u feel top speed drop or anything worse, u can approach the boss of pa, alson from equipment extreme to troubleshoot or to get an explanation. my knowledge on pa is from him...

where can i service my fz150i other than yamaha service center

u can trust HLC, coz they handle and service our bikes very often, even other fz150i owners not on this forum, so they r quite familiar wif our bikes... for ur engine oil cap, u lost it, or still got it? if still can ride u can go hong leong yamaha to get it, top up with enigne oil and cap it back... alternatively u can go bike shop, they drain the remaining oil, get a new cap for u and top up frresh oil...

ops...sry 4 nt noticing dat u'r junior in mtrbike matters....

TUNING means = to adjust d engine system to a better setting

d bike's setting on air intake&fuel hv 2 b set accordingly....it shud b on good ratio 2 ensure gd bike's performance...if u go 2 workshop,4 sure thy know watz tuning &watz d reason of tuning&etc...

but nt all of mechanics r good in tuning our bike...some even dun wanna do tuning 4 our bike as our bike use fuel injection &thy'r nt familiar w it...thr's no relation 2 d tacho...tacho relates w electrical sytem+battery+cable(i'm nt sure if bike got cable..cz prev.ly i use car&got tacho cable...)+device 2 measure speed of engine(dunno watz d stuff name)

hmm...if u wanna 2 chat abt car here w me can...actually i know abt cars bttr thn bike..hehe :D

Lol! Pleasure to know there's another female rider! Me too female. Hurhurhur... I know I keep mentioning gf so yes, I'm a les but these guys are cool about it. Lol! At least I think they are

So any problems you faced with the height of the bike? I remember having problems cos the bike was too tall and heavy, completely unlike the school's bikes. But I pretty much got used to it

Hmm... Spirit jacket is actually referring to the brand of the jacket. Just a regular one. But I think our friend Marcus here bought one which happens to be rainproof. Otherwise most bike jackets will have extra padding for protection.

What got you into riding anyway?
