130km/h is good already bro.

FZ150i stock condition tops is 120km/h.

The convenience is only the tank storage which can store more petrol than Spark135.

If u want more than 130km/h i would suggest u get RXZ but need 2T la.

Make a wise choice bro.

eh...bro....not 120kmh laaaahhh....only some of d bikes only 120kmh....

stock sized tyre+standard sprocket can go 144kmh on 10K rpm...

i juz realized y alot of ppl say dat fz150i is not a powerful bike... i know d ans cz i myself experienced it...

10 days ago, i changed rear tyre 2 100/80 ....alamak!! super heavy (in my opinion) ...most of d time d bike fixed w dat 100/80 ,i bring pillion...usually i can get 130-145 full throttle ...but w 100/80 everage 120kmh...super super super heavy! i cant resist w it .... so,i juz used it fr only 6 days (1900km) &i decided 2 ride w/o feeling angry w d bike (really i was vry angry w d super heavy ) ...so, 3 days ago i changed to 90/80 & rear sprocket to 41...

wow!!itz super powerful :)

more pick up thn stock... 148kmh at 10K rpm...i can chase after ALPHARD!!!!

so u guys, if want power, try my formula...hehe :D

if 15-40 sprocket, itz suitable only if u'r riding alone...if w pillion, combination of 90/80 & 15-41 sprocket will b superb...aftr rear srocket wear out, i wanna try 40 ... mayb hv 2 wait at least 7 mth more fr my sprocket 2 wear out...

additional info dat i'd done by myself =

-Stock rear tyre ,Kenda 90/90 circumfrence is 190cm

distance covered fr 1 spin of d front sprocket is 69cm

- my tyre Duro 918 90/80 circumfrence is 184cm

distance covered fr 1 spin of d front sprocket is 68cm ( 15-41 sprockeT)

dont take 2 stroke bike...waste money...hehe :D

stock fz150i can reach 144kmh on 10K rpm... my bike max 151kmh...(i chased an ALPHARD on NSE) ...tested it juz now...

u want speed rite???so..if u take fz150i , dun change rear tyre bigger thn 90/90 ...if not ,u'l cry as i'd cried....

i got a log book fr my bike maintanance... i record down all maintanance done & oso write comments/ pro & co of aftermarket parts / effect on power w load / weight to power ratio /good or bad things abt rear tyre&sprocket combination... &alot more...can read it whn we r having a meet up...

i'm vry2 happy w my bike as it deliver suffecient power fr me whn i need it....vry2 reliable bike... very low maintanace cost &fr sure low fuel consumption too :)

KL-Penang Island 400km ride w a pillion takes only 4&half hour includes 45min rest...400km w an average speed of 120kmh (w a pillion &10kg bagpack) consume only 11.5ltrs or 35km/ltr ...plz take note dat most of d terrain KL-penang r uphill slopes..

Btw so how does the sprocket thing works? I understand its like a gear. The more 'teeth' it has the better it is? Does it have a tradeoff with fuel comsumption?

i'm nt really good in answering dis Q....i juz ans based on my try & error experience k....my ans only answers u if u use 90/80 rear tyre &80/90 front tyre...

tyre&sprocket actually have some red side effects & some green side effects on d power/fuel cons.

wat 2 do is try &error cz our bikes altho same mileage, but d power delivery &torque r different ...power delivery &torque depends on how d owner maintain d bike & "power increasing" accesories/additives/engine oil/parts &etc really play parts in d fuel cons. &power..

as fr my bike, i use front 80/90 Maxxis , rear 90/80 Duro 918 ....BMC air filter , 15-41 sprock (std size is 15-42) , NGK CRE9IX Iridium s.plug , Hai-O JTX 1000 15w-50 engine oil , Maxima coolaide coolant , Power abuser ignite ....

i had done fuel intake tuning on 30K km mileage...&oso treated d engine w Nano technology XADO ENGINE REVITALIZANT GEL on 23K km mileage...

yeah, really hv effect on d power w maintanance done...

abt d sprock, it oso hv tradeoff w fc ...it all depends on d ride style &etc...

std 15-42 w 90/80 trye will b ard 7.1K rpm on 100kmh , 15-41 w 90/80 tyre ard 6.8K rpm on 100kmh....

d conslusion is = less teeth on rear sprocket, d less rpm will b on d same speed ...but sumtimes d bike will lose power ,especially whn climbing d hill w a pillion...15-40 sprock will b abit heavy whn climbing hills ...fr my bike ,my 41 rear is rly speedy!especially on hway.. even w heavy pillion... fr my bike , 41 rear w 90/80 consume less fuel thn std sprock...

if u use 90/80,u may try rear 41...if u use bigger thn 90/90 , plz dont do so....cz it'l b heavy...

rear 41 RKM ard rm50 at JB ...

fr more in4,we may hv a meet up...now i'm staying in spore till 30th nov ...abit hard 2 explain more in d forum..

wow.. back to sprocket discussion.. hahaha

less teeth, better top, less pick up

more teeth, more pick up, lesser top

was the guniea pig for front sprocket.. conclusion is.. dun try.. very very very bad

power output from our bikes cannot match up the the required for the front sprocket to perform

currently at 15/40

stock i believe is 15/42

others can confirm?

Grats! hope you enjoy ur ride like the rest of us

a few quick questions...

1st hand or 2nd hand?

with or without box?

for tyres u can look at bridgestone battlex.. serves most of us very well..

as for the size, u can choose to stick to the stock tyres, or slightly bigger..

Stock for manouverability, bigger for stability..

cheers and ride safe

Me too. I don use Battlax. Yes it's very good grip. The money also good go out of wallet very fast and very good. Lolx.

My Choice would be IRC GOLD WINGS SILVER SERIES or

IRC GOLD WINGS SPORT Series or

IRC GOLD WINGS RACING Series.

If I wan more budget i would go to JOHOR to get MAXXIS tyres.

Right SKG?

Ask Bro SKG. He sure knows abt MAXXIS Tyres. Budget and good.

hehe :D

yeah...maxxis tyres can b called as a "semi-battlax" ...cz d grip is good on dry&wet surface, while serves stable&comfortable cornering ...i'd use d front maxxis fr 37K km oredy, but d thread still hv 40%..long lasting...
