Thanks for all the info provided. I'd try to eventually hunt down an AN650 whether be it an exec model or not (all depending on how the deal would be crafted).

I'd like to check in on one of your outings to see your lovely machines, time permitting of course.

See you fellas on the road!

From what was happening in US, it seems that EO is a very critical issue for 650. Try 2 make sure that your EO level is always around the mid of the sight glass (below the engine chassis) n transmission oil is with sufficient EO. Important thing to note is not to use EO with JASO MA standard or car EO. Else not much fuzz 4 this bike.

There is one forumer here who rides 650 4 quite a while. Jeffrey kinda give some advise.

Whats the big difference in the 650 and 650exec? Goodness! What a price diff! 2k is substansive!

Guess I'd be making up my mind soon about it, I've been putting this off for too long now.

Yeah, was asking what the usual running costs are like for these big scoots. I'm intending to move up from a 250 X9.

thanks once again!

Actually the diff in $ is mainly due to having ABS.

every 6k km change EO (2.6L), 12k km change transmission (0.36L) n Gear oil (0.3L). No belt to worry n FC ard 20-22km/l depending on how u ride. Tyre 4 this bike is rare pls order it at least 3 mth in adv. K3 n below model hav this bearing seal issue. Insurance n rd tax not much higher than 400cc. So far the 'xiong' part is paying the installment.

You refering to K3 400cc. The owners' manual states 175kpa and 175kpa for solo riding, 200kpa and 280kpa for two-up.

For me I pump 190kpa front and 260kpa for rear, using Michelin Gold Standard tyres.

I think as long as don't exceed the manufacturers' stated pressure, can play around to suit your own riding style.

This is the final drive of the burger king. No belts & rollers to change here.

The belt is in another part of the bike. :D

:thumb: wah damn power, final transmission drive looks like running on helix gears. Primary transmission using short belt, therefore reduce stretching, stress over humps, life span of belt should be able to last much longer :thumb:
