My Burger going for surgery tomoro morning!! I found a new handlebar already also, sent for powder coating today. The bar looked something like this, with the cross bar on top..

Arcfire: Yo man, how's the PCV going? Are you gonna experiment with an oil catch tank next?

Still monitoring my mini 'fix', seems to result in a bit of decrease in oil loss compared to the other long breather pipe 'fix'...

Hai. Spent almost 1k that day.. Still got work to do.. Changed the signal lights too cos some mounting broken, got the clear ones.. Bottom fairing ok la,why? wanna donate to me issit? :cheeky:

Chk with u how is ur fc currently n do u own n exec? If u do, do u hear plastic rattling noise around ur windshield n some light metal rattling noise coming around the fwd wheel area? if possible care to share where u do ur svc. thks!

 

my fc at 1st was very bad. now is abt 20km/liter. u?? rattling sound ard windshield is because we have a motorise windshield. so ard there is a little loose. only the older kings dun have this prob cos theirs is fix there one. can't move. wan to service also no chance. bike too new. btw, wats your top speed?

mine btw 22-23lm/l. i c but it really bugs my ear.... tried once 177km/h but did not reach that speed otherwise n normally oni hit 172-4km/h.:sian:

i decided to check my own batt.

 

mine is YTX9-BS , which i believe the "9" means 9V?

but i thgt 12V is the normal operating for bikes?

 

so, wats the correct rating of our burgers batt?

The '9' represents 9 Amp, not 9 volt. Our battery is a normal 12V motorcycle battery.

ur almost correct, just found out , its "amp-hour" .. haha.

 

hmm, for my burgman 250, its act YTX7A-BS...

is there any side effects if using a higher rated batt? say "9" instd of "7" or "12" instd of "9"?

No side effects, but as a rule of thumb, higher amp means a taller battery... so you may not be able to fit it into the battery compartment.
