Safety wise

 

Korean > Jap

(i mean car wise, not the way they have sex LOL, jk, back to topic)

 

The material used to produce Korean cars are tougher, and its heavier causing them to drain slightly more oil.

 

On the other hand, Jap car are lighter, faster.

 

in term of design, vios better if u askme...

 

 

 

 

Couple of weeks ago i went down to Suntec City, there was a show on Malaysia car, imitating design such as getz and many more... i think vios oso got.. maybe u browse proton(whatever its call)

I once saw a ah pek driving a Lamborghini on ECP.. at least 60years old..

at that time I just got shock!!

Erm.. sorry i a bit How abt suzuki swift and VIOS ? I drove the two car before.. However, i feel that vios interior is definitely more spacious than swift.. but in term of the brake and stablity.. VIOS really no fight for swift.. Still deciding which car to get..

I 2nd all these.. But such problem if u care can be "fixed"

 

1) Rims increase to 15inch will improve the stability by quite alot, mine still on stock 14inch cos dun tour a lot but drove my fren's Vios with 15inch and it's a lot more stable.

 

2)Lan lan have to do soundproofing outside urself or DIY

 

3)Can DYI with 3M filter,cost less then $10 to do. Go to thew Vios forum to find the DIY thread

 

4)after doing the soundproofing will be gone

 

5)Change to Lexus

 

6)Go IKEA and get a big mirror and put on dashboard loh.

 

 

 

Anyway Vios FC good but not the best.. my company car a Honda City manual clock abt 16.5km/l.. Think it's b'cos the car uses electric steering, not power assisted like most cars.. But steering feel lousy, then again save petrol so can't complain..

Hie....In terms of engine..i'd go for vios..why???Because it last long...For getz,its engine can breakdown easily due to its weak piston...Too much air being compressed and it will released 5% of the compress air every 20 secs...it means that the slower the compressed air being pump out,the weaker the piston will be because it has no power to push the air out totaly...go for vios in terms of fuel savings...Getz drink the oil really fast while vios very slow..my fren who live at pasir ris and working at tuas driving vios,he took every 2weeks+2days to refuel...its saving...

vios anytime ... resale value definitely higher for toyota ... $$$ ... FC i think nt much diff lah .. if I want to get a getz .. will go for a jazz.... again resale vaue is higher .. no doubt it costs more ...
