Hi to all.. Am very new in here... Just wants to see a show of hands out there whether anyone lost their drz i mean (stolen) before or ever heard of ppl's drz being stolen also. Cos bought a drz last year and lost it after 2 weeks, can you imagine that? But it wont put down the flame inside me to purchase it back again.. But just want to know some tips on how you guys prevent it from getting stolen. I bought it from MAH MOTOR and the bike is a first hand 08 model. But the 09 is coming out soon, thinking of buying it when i got back my claim. Chances of my bike being stolen could it be the bike shop? Or could it be the bike syndicate outside who stole my bike? No offence but just asking only, as i dont wish to lose it one more time again!!

Buy 2 pad-locks, and lock/attach it to both your front/back discs (brakes); Cover it if necessary too (but it takes up more time especially after a tiring day after work). That's what i think people do to ensure that not just it'll get stolen but also no one will move their bike around or something~

don't rev your bike loudly at the carpark or void deck(if it applies to you). i noticed that some people tend to get their bikes pushed elsewhere and hidden because they were throttle happy around the hdb area with their aftermarket exhaust.

not saying you did that la but just to remind us all :)

What I planning to do is the following :

1. Get a Xena Disc Alarm (Done!)

2. Get an Abloy to double up the "Defense".

3. Get a 2 way alarm.

4. Cover your bike. (Done)

5. Get a Steering Lock (this one is optional)

So I am left with step 2 and 3 to go~ haha.

Abit kiasu, but this is worthwhile to safeguard my new property! hehe

use bike cover~! :o

Always ride safely and defensively.

Repair bike cheap and fast,

Repair body expensive and slow.
