Hi Knightingale,

 

Thanks for the words of advice! I'm glad to say I have been riding close to a week on the GW, and it is actually quite easy to handle!!

 

I did give my wife a lift on the bike, and I must say it's been good so far!

 

I have lots of help from other GoldWingers around, meeting them and discussing about tips and touch ups for the bike. It;s been great!

 

Dont know when I will see the bike drop, I hope not!!

 

It's been a blast so far, and I'm enjoying every minute of it!!

 

So guys, when can we meet and check out each others bikes? It'll be cool mates!

Good to hear that, I've just sold my GW. Will be looking out for other GW in the future. We can get together for coffee though.

I need help in getting the front 2 LED strobes the TP's are using. any idea where to get it here or any shops that do emergency lightings? small size..

i have scouted ard even at SLT but to no avail so need professional help from the good pple here as well.

Hi to all...

 

The Goldwing has been my dream tourer biker eversince I started riding...

 

My last tourer was a ST1100 (FQ911K) which I sold off back in Year2000, although now I drive (due to work). I still own a cute little Spark135cc with I join some of the guys here in the forum to Cameron Highlands recently which brough back Many Many Many... Happy memories....

 

Have been looking for a Tourer every since I came back... and the GW is on my shopping list...

 

Could any one advise or drop me a tinker should you know someone who is letting up? Would prefer to buy over from a GW owner than buying from a bike shop where I don't know the history of the bike...

btw the links that u posted,yes it something like that esp the small rectangular ones. the rest are dashboard lites used on cars instead.

Not to flame tis particular shop...but i got many comments tat they charge very high price...i myself m not too sure...but can anyone comment on tis...cos i did post a thread but no reply or whatsoever......but i heard the boss good in sport bike when he was in Sanfu now suddenly good in Tourer...why the change? i dun understand....

May be you got mixed up with other mech or bike shop. There is no "they" in this shop, Ah San is an 'one man show' mechanic.

I only know him specilized in tourer cos he is an "appointed" mechanic for Golwinger Club Singapore.

I let him service my FJR too, I find his charges is reasonable and furthermore, he is a very friendly guy.
