dear people,

just to warn my fellow bikers to be carefull of the covered carpark at jb , there. my bike just got broke in , the guy used a metal fork and forcefully ply my back box lock out and damaged my whole back box array

i lost also 100++ dollars worth of items

1 x half face helment $46

1X half face helment $35

1 x sony radio kia $40

1 x comfort tax bag free

1 x polarised sunglasses $30

1 x booklet of singaoore parking coupon $6.55

4 x AAA gp rechageable battery $18

total i lost 174.55 SGD

also regretted that i shouldn't park my bike there , should park at the open air carpark and should not have brought so many items into jb too.

my travel insurance just expired and i cannot claim anything.

just pissed that this happened to me the first time after so many times into jb and i bring my friend first time into jb too.

before that there is one guy standind and looking at the bike, so next time when you see someone standing close to your bike, be very carefull and get out if you see people standing or looking at your bike.

never every park your bike at sheltered carpark and i learned this the hard way.

truth is..it is not safe to park in both open or sheltered carpark in jb.

there is no such thing as safe carpark.

there is likelihood of theft even if u park in the porch right smack in front of your house.

:giddy:

from the way i see it, quite a number of malaysian bikes have got damaged rear box locks in one way or another. likely they kena the same fate as u did.

You wanna park in JB, use a bulky thick chain. Tie it to many bikes and then to a lamp posts. As a precaution, I do not bring my bike in JB when shopping. Let it sleep at home...feel safer. Use public or car to go to JB lor.

Friend, if they want to steal bike and your bike happened to be at the open or sheltered car park, it simply gets loaded up a lorry in 30 seconds or less. If parking in JB to makan, always park very near your table and sit where you can see your bike, and make sure u do see it. People have lost bikes within minutes of not watching their bikes. This happens everywhere from RnR along NSH to the average jb street. Each time we park we are taking a risk. The best is not to park in jb at all.

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

wah..

never knew helmets can be purchased at RM$30/piece leh.

ever parked along the goreng pisang stalls next to police post at holiday plaza together with my rider fren. we both paid a guy RM$1 to help keep lookout for us. came back from shopping and the guy was telling us how there were pple aimming our helmets (which we lock under the pillion seat hook).

problem is we were using helmets which are considered as 'cheapo' in singapore.

parking in your porch in msia is never safe, tat's why i always push the bike into the living room.:cheeky: i heard so many stories of bikes getting stolen in porch. my effort paid off when one morning i heard from a neighbour that 3 of my neighbours' cars got their windows smashed and burglated. one of the neighbours is just opposite my house!

Some more I made sure I handle-locked my bike before going off.. really wonder how they can make off with my bike in such a short time!! Really pissed..
