I'll keep it bro,like you said its awesome. I have another appreciation for my 125R, have you tried revving high, the engine builts up power then suddenly slight lurge forward and you're suddenly going faster(DOHC). And I realised that after all my 12000km Run in bike. Once you rev high the FC became 34km per Litre.

 

btw victor, where wil u go for ur cl2a? ssdc?

 

well... if u ever touch a cl2a or cl2 bike, u may hv the thought to ditch ur rwr... cos the power wise is realy totally bigger than our rwr (15hp) vs S4 (50hp) vs big cow (100hp)...

 

the analogy is just like wife vs mistress... if u never hav mistress u wil say u wil forever loyal to ur wife etc etc (tiger wood)... but once u taste it, u wil go to bigger cc bike... but one day, u wil stil find small cc bike the best to play with...

 

just to share w my funny analogy... hope u understand wat i mean... :angel:

Nice insight, I've never heard of this before, i can't believe anyone would want to ride the bike until it breaks down..:(:( But guess there are ppl like that

Anyways I am constrained by budget so I shall resist swapping to a big bike, there's a class2 bike on sale at Excel which is exactly what I want but it came out too early second hand tdm900 mileage only 7000km white. selling at $14000.

 

BUT yes I'm sticking to rwr for the time being. Taking my 2a at BBDC,near my work place.

 

wow u oso like the tdm ah... for $14k is quite a good buy because last time the new one cost abt $17k...

 

btw wat time u off work? Cos u need to consider the convenient timing & cost...

 

for bbdc after work got session frm 6.15-7.55pm ($27.80)

ssdc 5.55-7.55pm ($32.10)

cdc 6.50-8.30pm ($27.80)

Hi rwr bros,

 

I read that some of you installed new horns, what brand how much and where did you guys install it?

 

the stock horns not loud enough, i horned this bugger and he just kept switching into my lane despite my bike and helmet and pillion helmet all white like macham didn't see:clapping:

 

eh. i did mine at ah boy. hella super tone. german brand but made in india.think they relocated to india. they qouted 58 bucks at first with installation. i told one of them i was rushing and had no time to do it and i would come back another day thennnnnn after lingering around for awhile long, he quoted me 28bucks.

For maintenance of bike, there r 2 ways...

 

One is the wait til breakdown then fix method. It is okay for local riding condition. And most people roughly know the lifespan of the parts so they get it changed just before it expired.

 

The other is so called preventive measure. It is to change everything to new one even it is not yet reach its full lifespan. This is to anticipate sudden surprise if your bike breakdown, esp, in foreign country.

 

So, my advise is for you to take note lifespan of ur parts n get it serviced and changed in any schedule which suit ur budget.

oh yeah, one thing, imagine me starting off at the traffic light, i change gear until 3 already. then when i'm at like 7krpm, my bike suddenly 'pop'. it's as if the bike literally just 'pop' forward and the rpm jumps to 8krpm straight away. could it be i throttle too much and there is lag? turbo lag.haha.

hm, u sure the bike was properly in gear alr before it surge forward?

for rwr, the power wil come in at 7rpm, so its normal for stock bike to have this power surge at 7rpm. If u wan to get rid of this u can install power abuser...

Oh yea...:thumb::thumb:power definitely comes after 7rpm..I just signed up for 2A at BBDC, saw a R125 parked there, brand new right fairing all greyed out by scratches, exhaust deep gash across exhaust...:faint::faint::faint:p plate.

 

R125 as in daelim?

if u had bike b4, u can roughly guess the lifespan, if not, just ask ard lo... or ask cka abt the average life of ur parts... some parts u by loooking u wil noe... eg brake pad

ya.i guess it was in the correct gear already. it was climbing up from about 6.5krpm and when it hit 7, it just pop forward.literally. i don't know if it's a power surge.

i really don't know man.next time when it happens i will take note of it again. it's not as if it's a smooth power surge, it feels as though i threw the clutch and the bike jerks forward.

after i took that shot,i realised the hdb in the background spoilt it. i tried to take it on the other side but the sun was behind the bike so most of the pictures were very dark and it didn't turn out as nice. can can.next time go mountain.

i got box leh.. why i need anti slip? lol. BMC can fit meh? nvm im quite pleased with knn. as long as its something that creates a sound louder than my wierd buzzing sound im happy.
