Y don u get the side boxes, that can make it look like a cruiser also? actually i like to get a box too if i get this rwr but how much? CKA Jurong East told me can put side box(but how much?) but exhaust need extension to make it lower so the side box not too high cos the exhaust really high.

last time it seemed kinda impossible to put sideboxes.. but now if the mechs manage to do it maybe give it a shot? but a word of caution: sideboxes wont be cheap haha. esp the rack would have to be customised and expensive.

hmm.. u mean the ixil exhaust shorter isit?

wat i mean is dat CKA JE told me add extention dat hold e' exhaust, so e' exhaust angle will be lower. if only shorter wouldn't the hot gas from e' exhaust melt e' rite side box?

Hi Roy3ton, i don't know if you have visit the http://www.cka.com.sg or the cka main showroom near your work place for more details of the bike. But from what the info i've got from recent visit to cka je & tg(pls check my posts on page 26), the price is S$8500 inclusive of everything if you've got your 2b licence for 3 or more yrs already. If not have to top up extras whether you have a c3 + c4 + c5 licence for 5yr or not.

I'm not sure about cdc, but isn't it a must to pass 14days before tp date? 9th june 09', isn't that less then 14days already? BBDC up 8.01, SSDC up lesson 7, CDC up ??. you still at lesson 3 only(& stuck so sorry), how are you going to take your tp on 9th june?

Oh pls don't follow the person infront of you unless they're doing very good, perfect, then you can follow. But in most case, just follow the instructors what you have learn. In your case, you might have affacted by the lady who buang infront of you. In this case you just have to think of what you've learned and those who done well infront of the lady. It's normal that we might be extra careful and over careful till we do the opposite.

the stock pannier for ST1300 or FJR1300 is ard $1500. Side pannier is not cheap, BMW one lagi ex... so... ask urself y u wanna customised side box...usualy people w full side boxes r for touring purposes... its not practical to put it on our rwr unless u r touring hardcore... else in SG, simple tail pack/tank bag/back pack shld b able to hold ur stuff...

Saner77, let CKA keep the helmet you dun need it neither would you want to wear it. My best option for you if you do get the bike is to get P-plate,raincoat,bike cover. Other options for you which is a must is to trade in your tires before CKA hands over to you that way you can save heck load of time. Ask for Box installation as well at the same time.

 

The helmet is in my honest opinion not good its sufficient for those 'normal' road users RXK SN125 etc...ask CKA whether you can change the half face to fullface KBC also sold at CKA showroom. My free helmet is still at home waiting to be given away.

I'm not saying all these options are free, you can do so by 'topping' up.

 

Tires are worth it bcoz I personally used the Korean 'Swallow' tires and Errrrr....everyone in this forum has changed to bridgestone; I rest my case. Then again it is subjective and alot of ppl still use Stock, its up to the individual.Changing tires is Offered at CKA. Either ways get it down at CKA. Good Service is Guaranteed.:clap:
