congratulation, u can ride faster now. but...

Hey! you mean you only ride Max 60 kilometer per hour for the 500 km? didn't you go to the e-way(expressway)? don't tell me u only ride at normal road, nvr go eway b4. at eway should ride as fast as possible but not to over the speed limit or vehicle(van, mini bus, bus, truck, trailer, etc...) speed limit rite? those drivers, inconsiderate drivers, reckless drivers, cbei luv tailgate n horning drivers nvr disturb u meh? wah biang, u veri the heng ah. i ride at the slowest lane at 70 kph still got vehicle tailgate a very long distance.

hi laojiao here, is jersmatrix rite about the 60kph tops thing? i only remb roy tell me not to over 80kph(not to do so b4 1st 3 svc). isn't that mean going up to 70++kph is np? also usually i rev to 7-8rpm b4 i change gear from 3-4, 4-5. is that rite/ok? from the pass posts i read, i'm doing the rite thing, am i not? pls advice. thank u veri much, thanks.

Yup i don't actually take expressway or any highway, just taking the normal road. Until now :)

Done changing machine oil and filter. try to run 88kph and i'm starting to feel vibrations. when you look into your side mirror you can't see clearly. does your rwr do the same thing?

and guys is it ok for us to change rear spracket to 42, just to improve speed and performance? it's kinda funny what happen to me this afternoon, I'm running 80kph then there is this scooter (you know those scooters without clutch and transmition) zooming at my side... I laugh at my self...hahhahhahha that tiny bike is faster than mine... I'm here freaking out with the engine vibrations and then suddenly there is this scooter zooming beside me..

thanks.

Hmm... True ah.. Find that the bike seems more zippy when I maintain higher revs...

do ur riding style abit different from last time where ur fc was 34/L? meaning u rev very very high for a long long time b4 change gear, ur speed not steady, feuquent ram and let go ram and let go... ? or that u last time ride fast to destination, now ride slowly plus traffic jam plus u don't squeeze in between vehicles anymore?

our rwr is oredi the least vibration 2b bike if u compared with other 2b bike... (try phantom...)

vibration I meant, when u ride ur bike for more than 1 hour ur hand will be numb cos of the constant big vibration... as for our rwr, the slight vibration tt cause the side mirror to move abit thats is very normal... even cl2 bike the same... of cos, dun compare with a car...

No lah... Just after my accident, the mirror's still scratched... Thinking of changing it so exploring possible options... :p

y? our mirror not nice enuf meh?

RWR already consider very good for least vibration. at least an hour then you can feel the numbness.i guess partly is cause of the weight and size. mine 1/2 hr hands totally numb . cant even feel my fingers on brakes:cry: but my mirrors still very usable. got no ideao_O

Im trying to start my bike from parking and it wont' start, cannot even hear the starter sound. its because my gear were not on neutral and i have my stand on. Putting off your stand will enable the starter button or putting your gear to neutral will also do the trick.

This is because of our safety feature installed in our bike (located at the side stand). I just want to share this so other people like me (newbie) would know what to do in a case like this.

ya, it is due to the side stand switch...

So u both very sure, ur free service meant no EO & filter? Can confirm by checking on ur booklet? Or, did they verbally told u b4 u bought ur bike that free meant what?

If u have doubt, best is to bring this matter to the boss at HQ and clarify. Really, so far what I know abt free meant free $0.

If free workmanship nia then its a joke lor... wakaka... cos my company car, send for servicing to comfort they also charge by package, $88, $168 etc...

OMG... im very shock with this... I just done with my 1st service and I paid for my EO $25 each + filter around $6. I bought my bike at Kaki Bukit and i also bring there my bike for servicing.

When I bought my bike the deal is 2 years free service & maintenance. This kinda confusing because my booklet says 1st free inspection and so fort. I also bought this because of the free maintenance thing that they offer. hmmmmm I want to be fair with the boss at kaki bukit so ill verify with him first what is happening then ill post here his answers. I'm not asking for much i just want to have what is supposed to be mine. :)

cheers!

thanks for clearing up.. now i dont have to call the boss at KB. so now the 2 years free service is manpower only. anything your bike used from servicing needs to be paid.

im using it but the only problem i faced is; when i don't ride for like a few days, and i will have problems trying to start. i have to hold the starter longer before the bike can start up. didn't have any problems with my OWS iridium spark plug. no idea why :

i think i shall wait a few more weeks and see how it goes

Hi,

nice to meet you too. Thanks for the tips. :-)

HUH??!! NICK what happened??!! I disappear for a while then I come back to the forum and you want to do a rocket pass Nudge and His girl AAhhh DOn't LA now Nudge's my classmate at SIM, wait two of cramp our bikes beside you side by side on the road how??then yr SP become thinner:P

Hi Ian, NICE meeting you, finally!!haha oh yes, there are many reasons, my RwR consumption used to be 28/L now its back to 35. How you can increase mileage?, well try...

1) I started riding non-aggressively; when the traffic light turned green I would start off slow and change gear once the RPM hit 6rpm.Realized that when i did that pick was slow but it was very smooth for the bike and overall my mileage increased. Learned from BloodyChamp. Oh I still am at the front of a traffic queue. Change your gears fast. Half Clutch kick up.

2)I also changed my exhaust to Ixil and removed my main stand. Weight is correlated to consumption so if you carry alot on your bike, it naturally uses more fuel to generate my power to carry you and your stuff. Pillioning also increases consumption definitely.

3)If you read through the pages, quite a number of us changed or added certain mods....which I mentioned to you at the workshop when i saw you today.

4) USE CALTEX!!!!!!!

Overall, Road situation also plays apart. Jams are a constant pain, pick up slow down pick up jam break all constitutes more petrol usage. Upslopes also, I'll usually rev till i get to the top then I'll clutch in and freewheel the bike downslope. Yea so just some of my experience.

OH the mirrors, I have been sourcing for them online recently, none so far. But I saw a Gilera with really nice rectangular mirrors with irridium finishing. Rocks. Ai ya I forgot to ask Roy about it today.

Hi Jersmatrix, First things first CLARIFY with Choong KOK any discrepancies that you're not sure of. DIRECTLY. They're the ones that sold you the bike, and they'll definitely be the one to help solve any problems for you. Their Service is Fantastic and I'm sure something can be worked out. SO point is Hint hint Ask them directly bcoz your servicing issue is quite sensitive.:cheeky::cheeky: LITERALLY!!

Ok that Aside Congrats on your Bike and a Good Run in! Yea I know its very irritating when these malaysian cub chai(scooters) zoom pass you...I hate it personally but what to do?? Some consolation; Our Bike is a Big Ass stallion that is stable and reliable. and we will win the scooters bcoz we have DOHC which is a double valve thingy that is correlated to high end torque. Meaning the more we rev in the high zone, more power is generated and you'll find a substantial increase in power and top speed, we'll definitely win them so PLEASE dun Compare our high performance RwR to scooters!!!!:dot:hahaha

Anyways ride safe all, been seeing alot of accidents involving ............You dun need me to tell you what type of vehicle.:dozed:
