maybe you think your bike wont get stolen cos its a 10 year old bike.

but i'm sure you will never know if your bike gets burnt by some stupid arsonist...

95 bucks difference a year to insure a potentially 4000 bucks.

why not?

its only 26 cents more a day...

NTUC still allow. They also allow you to switch back to TPFT in the future.

I stay in Woodlands. TPFT is a definite must in light of that stupid arse arsonist who burnt several bikes & cars.

Anyway, the complex is that newer bikes tend to be covered under TPFT while older COE bikes are just covered under TP. The value of the bike diminishes over time. But then, it's up to an individual's preference. If I'm riding a Ducati or MV, I'd definitely cover it under TPFT even after 10 years...

If you go up North, it definitely a must. If you do not travel up, then TPFT it is only worth around 5 extra tankful of Singpore petrol(taking each tank to be around 10L). That around 1000km that you forego. In my opinion, buying TPFT will give you, peace of mind.

I remember my friend a hawker in AMK, whose hawker centre caught fire last year. Fire insurance just expired one month before fire. While neighbouring stalls was compensated with over $10k+, he got nothing just because of $250+ insurance which he forget to renew.

When somethings happen, you will ask why me?

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

insurance companies are quite flexible when upgrading to a higher-policy. take TP when you're on budget, and top-up to TPFT next following month when u get your pay. :)
