4 stroke vs 2 stroke, a long war since the begin of motoring....both got pros and cons.

Any 2 stroker would leave this yammie behind. But 4 stroke yammie is meant to be economical and have a decent amount of speed. Enough for your daily tom, **** and harry.

but its a 4-stroker .. .. can it still run ? [/Quote]

I guess the power is closer to a TA200 with slightly more nimble and lighter features... SOHC lose out on top but less a cam means lighter bodies.

I would get the FZ150i and use R15 rear disc on it.

same here la. But price wise still not certain. Coz it seems like its gonna be like 8.5K or more OTR for P platers under 21. The insurance ex sia.

U want to compare the R15 with CBF150 or CBR150?

To me, this bike wins both CBF n CBR in terms of looks. Power and speed wise im not so sure but i tink if there is any difference, it shouldnt be much.

I went to Kallang Leisure Park yesterday. Went to feel the R15. In my opinion, its not really as fancy as i expected it to be.

YZF-R15

It size is slightly smaller than SP but bigger than KR. The controls feel, well plastic. But for its price of 6.5k OTR w/o Insurance i find its quite worth it. But when i took a sit on it, i was quite dissappointed. It was SO SMALL for me! My legs were having a hard time trying to fit under the tank. It feels very constricted for taller riders like me. (1.82m) But the posture was quite relaxed. In between SP/KR and a normal street bike. I wasnt really slowched so much forward. I just had to learn forward a little. But overall, the bike feels very... cheap. Can down $500 and ride off. Free KBC Fullface helmet.

FZ150I

I finally sat on the FZ150I for butt testing. Its very comfortable, but it feels a teeny bit small for me. But i had a feeling that it was very light. The meter feels plasticky and cheepo in my opinion. And the bike seat is much lower than the YBR seat i am used to. The controls just feel so plastic to me. But i can say that is it very comfortable to sit on. The positioning is slightly, a lil bit hunched forward as i think that the handlebar is low. This bike is selling for 5.7k OTR w/o insurance.

When i was there i really couldnt be bother to look at the models. Was way much interested in the bikes anyway. I couldnt stop checking out the FZ6 with the undertail exhaust.:cheeky: Even my friend can see that i targeting that bike haha. But the roadshow really damn sad. I thought big thing. So small. So little people. The models, well, all i can do is smile. :) You guys should check out the R15. If the tank was designed to fit my legs easily and the footrest was placed more to the back, i think it would be a winner for me.:thumb:

Hi,

I went there to view this bike as well. What do you think:

1) Value for money?

2) What do you think abt the specs?

Quite interested in this bike but after reading the specs I have queries as this is a new bike.

I was there a few hours ago too. I tink it is value for money if not for the high insurance cost in my case. Its like a mini version of R1 although the tail isnt dat nice and the tyres are skinny. Specs are ok for me as basically i want a 4 stroke bike with good FC which can go up to 130-140 km/h. The R15 fits these features well and it has that sporty look!

For R15 owner out there.. Jus be careful with stock R15 tires "MRF", those tires are meant for Off Road(sand) use.. As pulsar are using the same.. Change IT!
