Woah, long vacation to where reality lies huh? ;-)

As for me, I'm alrite now, physically and all; that crash back then did put my mentality to the test. It's due time I head back to the track to pick up where I've left off...miss 'em sweet corners :hungry:

Give me a ring when ya back and when ya keen on hitting the tracks, alrite?

haha, not doing any riding here...no $$$ plus it's too damn cold for me. taking bus to school, sad.

yeah man, i'll buzz u when i get back, i miss my bike. :S

Dun have my CBR anymore.

Just wondering if a DRZ400SM can join the Track Day and also take part in the Big Bike race??

Anyway, am going to go today. Probably go for 2 sessions till 12 noon. Anyone else going?

Weather is going to be beautiful.... windy with patches of fast moving clouds mixed with periods of sunshine starting from mid-morning to late afternoon.

What a lonely track ride.

Only good thing is timing faster by 2 seconds. Must be the FCR39. Easier to get on the throttle earlier out of the corners.

Resulting in higher corner exit speeds.

Now all I need is some external 'pressure' to cut the timing down.

May happen this Sunday's Track Day when Shah Holy Devil Oli takes me on using his son's DRZ400SM.

It will be called Clash of the Old Fogies aka Battle of the Bapaks aka Tongkat Ali Challenge 2007.

Truly said. Focus on the cornering techniques and linings.

When you are smooth in the corners and also smooth from corners to corners..the speed will go up and the lap times will come down.

A track has more corners than straights. Imagine how much of the lap time you can cut down if you were faster by 0.10 sec for every corner. Just count the number of corners on a race track.

The Snakeman did not reach his standard by just riding with throttles wide open on the straights only.

Up to you to decide if you can trust these weather reports : ), but here's the link to the weather website http://www.weatherforyou.com/clickcast/international/my/pasir+gudang.html

I don't think this is a reliable source for Pasir Gudang Weather.

Take a look closely at the right side of that web-site:

http://i9.tinypic.com/81q3n9s.gif

The weather forecast predictions were taken from and based on WSSL.

WSSL is the International Airport Code for "Seletar Airport"

Where that place is, is self-explanatory.

================

Closest one would be this:

http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=WMKJ

Although this weather station is 5 to 10km away from PG, at least it's in JB and is nearer.

Hi redbeacon, its 50% accurate when it says it drizzle, but 100% accurate when it says heavy rain.

Were you asking about Wunderground.com?

The percentages provided are "chance of precipitation" prediction rankings...

This means for instance, if it says something like...

50% chance of precipitation

...this means that there will be a 50/50 chance that on that day itself, there would be rain. Otherwise, no rain.

(Disclaimer: As with all weather news, I always check them frequently as I find they do change sometimes)
