You guys might think that this is just another naked bike...but this is the thing that is amazing about this bike.

Interesting.

Looks like a street version of the Pegaso-II.

I like the concept of the helmet compartment.

But a rear fuel tank? Wouldn't it make the bike rear-heavy (suspension and tyre-wear issues)?

Ok la, you bring in I buy this one, no need to think about TDM & Versys...

All I can say is wow ... this bike has everything that I wanted ... Selectable Auto/manual gear shift ... can change mapping on the drive ... large compartment ...

 

However... it's kinda weird to have fuel tank below your seat... and the chain is on the right side???

 

Apart from those two above... I think the storage space and the selectable Auto/Manual gear shift is really cool to have in future naked bike scene... wished that will happen to the next generation of naked bikes from Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha and rest ...

 

But I bet ... since it is Aprilla ... it's gonna cost a Nuclear bomb to own this monster ....

 

Anyway... here's a video from youtube inside the Aprilla factory on how this mean monster is built ...

 

At the end of the video .. it said to cost around 9000 Euros ... so I think it is not so expensive afterall...

 

Can't wait for this bike to arrive in our shores ... my next target

Correction to my previous post on the cost of this bike ....

 

I saw the youtube video on this bike and at the end... they said this bike will cost slight around 9000 Euros ... hence ... I believe it will not cost a nuclear afterall ... most probably be slightly higher than the rest of the bikes of it's range ...

 

Nevertheless ... it's a nice bike...

the aprilia MANA 850 n the SHIVER 750 will be imported into malaysia. ETA September. Price around RM70k and RM60k respectively. the official importer's showroom is in Bangsar.

the problem with bikes with auto transmission is that they are always lower powered as compared to their manual counterparts.. i wonder why..
