DR200 vs XR125!!!

The single most significant difference between these two bikes is that one is from Suzuki, and the other from Honda.

wondering if dr200 can be modded to look better.. the look of it really crappy lol. but it seems to be a good bike from wad i read from reviews

The DR200 is rated at 20.70hp @8500rpm whereas the XR125 is rated at 15hp@8500rpm.

 

Both bikes are very capable although the DR200 tends to be under-rated, hence the DR200 is not over-priced like the XR125.

Yes!! XR125 is kinda expensive for a 125cc bike. I was in a dilemma about 2 mnths ago on which to buy. XR125 or DR200. Weighed the pros and cons (reallly prefered the xr's look). Tried both bikes and I settled for the DR coz of the price. (DR-8k, XR-7k both o.t.r). I haven't looked back since as I like the power and handling of the DR. But yeah, the looks. It's kinda like love. The DR's like a not so chio girl. You've got to love her for who she is to overlook the aethetics part.

Yup. Don't see much DP bikes, what more 2b ones. By the way got feedback from word of mouth that the xr125 brazilian parts not as good as the japanese parts. Not sure of that. But then again, all these boils down to what you want out of the bike.

DR200 comes with 'usual scrambler' sized rims 21" front & 18" rear.

Wider choice of tyres available for both on-road and off-road.

 

XR125 is spec with 19" front and 17" rear.

Tyres are HARD to get at those sizes locally (unless you intend to get back the original road-ish tyres).

anw how do i maintain xr125? like how many mileage change EO or watever.
