According to the spec it should be 8.7 litres inclusive of reserve.

Guys, wat kind of petrol do u guys use? 95 or 98? SPC?...Exxon Mobil?....Shell? Diff brand n ratings oso affect yur FC

mileage varies from different bike, different riding style & of coz different brands of petrol used.

u got to try it all urself to find the rite 1 for ur ride

BTW, how to check the brake fluid? Where is it? cannot find it....

 

Check throught the holes at the front handlebar cover near both brakes.

 

 

Always been using Mobil 95 at the moment, will try Shell petrol to see any different with same riding style.

1st batch of 06/07 Runner is w/o the stickers juz like the 08. those with stickers is the 2nd batch liao.

 

Mine is 2nd batch. The stickers are ugly. I rather leave it plain for my creation.

You are refering to the low fuel light? Mine random blinking around two bars on the fuel gange. It fully lights up when its on one bar. Think the fuel level sensor kind of loose in the fuel tank???

 

Doubt the fuel sensor is accurate. Use mileage safest.

i use vpower. Acceptable for bike consumption.

 

Vpower FC is poorer than 98 FC. Not sure if it is a illusion.

new bike's fuel consumption is always high. that's because the engine not broken-in, and transmission drive belt still a bit hard (like army boots like that, new ones very hard, must season first then will feel soft.) also, i find if i ride damn relax, i can hit 230km before the light comes on. if temperature high, just check coolant or leave the vents (below each side of the fuel cap) open lor.

tried various brands on my car, found SPC has d worst mileage, followed by caltex and mobil but when i switch to shell 98, found to have d best mileage abt 35km more compared to mobil, so now stick to shell.

HI der, like u, i recently got myself a red ST. According to d bike shop, e was saying its beta to do d servicing when it hit about 800km instead. Wondering wat d costr involved for d servicing? Anybody pls advice.

Mine too hit 230km b4 lights on cheers........Btw new runs tried to ride not exceeding 6500rpm ( engine run in)

dat sounds great! cont me in!! i pump petrol when it goes slightly less den half (approx 135km on d odo), did a simple calculation, i m running abot 29km/litre

D more d merrier! Well, I'm not sure, maybe they perdict d COE will go up, u shld look around for d best deals though. I learnt recently, there r hidden cost like agreement fees, oso ask whether der r early payment penalty, etc, so do ask in details b4 signing anything.

should not be the case what...no need to set wan leh for the speedometer...i just got mine also recently also no problems....better get it checked...
