hey gileraians..am using 07 model.heard that 08 cover set can be use on 07 model.

any tips,lobangs?i need to change the front cover set to a bigger one like 08 if possible.

stock rollers i forgot already the weight, but its good if u are using it for ur conventional runs in.

Ohyah ur previous post told me to take care of the rear suspension, the rear suspension wat is the issue with it?? too soft so lots of bumps when in corners?

if u are light weight guy, no problem if u use it for everyday use. if u are heavy weight champion like me, its best to change. bitubo is really good. can service summore. hehehe! anyway ride it out stock 1st, see how u like it. its still a scoot afterall.

Whats the PSI range for the tires for the runner?

tis 1 i forgot ar.. hahaha. i noe i pump usually 32 to 34 or 220 to 235 at th e pump station..dunnoe wats the measurement called. hehehe.

of course nice, price oso nice.. current price ard 800+/- per pair. but i believe tats the best investment i did for tis scoot. next would be yss i think ard 300+/- per pair (the white 1 with bottle). other type, i dun dare comment since i never tried before

OK thanks, din noe bitubo have suspension spares for smaller bikes. Wonder traxion, ohlins etc have or not. YSS i heard of it but normally for smaller range of bikes am i rite?

euro bike mah, surely the suspension company from euro will sumhow support. anyway u can service at meezo. call them up 1st. they will advise u accordingly.

Hey thanks and cheers glad got some help from some current riders on the runner. This is my first scoot after so many donkey years as previously all sports bike so felt shld b quite cool to try and ride a scoot. Many frends tell me runner is quite fun and enuff traveling power .

Hi again guyz, been bz n out for awhile..... btw wanna say hi to LF, I was once like you, very very used to sports bikes n all that comes with it and so scoot is something very new to me too.

 

As wat Bongstar had explained that they aren't many choices in the scoot dept. For example, the suspension, so far bitubo, yss, n a few other brands are available, ohlins, hyper-pro, matrix n etc do not cater to such bikes.

 

Becos of these limited parts and accesories, until today, I have difficulty in achieving the "feel" or feedback of the bike that i get from all my previous bikes. Cos without the proper feedback, you wont be able to have the confidence to ride the bike to its limit or to your full potential

 

So far its been a very frustrating procedure trying parts by parts, to achieve the my goal.....

So wishing you gd luck in your new bike project, n if u stumble on anything that is gd for all of us to use pls do post it on the forum to share.

Hi Hayden and Bongstar,

 

Haha i got my bike and i rode lik a newbie LOLX~~but e feel was good with enuff power to change lanes etc just that got to get use to the feel and handling of the bike as felt kinda diff. -_- my front brakes feels kinda soft for my liking and the rear is hard which i hope can be the opposite and i just realise it is not able to adjust manually... so i guess i got to go flush and change brake fluid or change hose and brake pads~~

 

You guys when you got ur runner was it lik tis?? also now lots of silly stuff i did on my other bikes i aint doin on the runner now e.g which is do u turn in a small place on my sparks as there is a free play on the runner and i aint use to the handling yet ^_^

No wonder so much diff feel lahs as the rear is steel braided. I tink i need to change my front brake hose as im too use to my R6's front brake feel. Hmm speaking of this, does braking have any good brake pads for runner e.g like CM55 as im a fan of those or any other brands you guys can recommend as i guess after run in i will bring my runner to PG for a try out ^_^ .

 

Bongstar Bro you tok abt changin gears, lol im even worse as i press e rear brake lever tinkin it is clutch and while waiting to fit into the traffic from the side before moving off, i was "clutchin in and revin abit to have more pick up" how silly was i when i realise it was dangerous if i just let go of my "clutch" -_____-" ...... when i rode the R6.... i clutch in to brake the rear brakes and realise my mistake....... This 2 bikes confusing me.... silly me haha ^__^

brake pads i've tried malossi before, good but nowhere compare to your r6lah.. scooter leh. bring this bike to pg? maybe need to change ur brake disc ar.. due to our scoot lacking in gear, so brakes are used more often thus more likely for it to overheat/fail.but tats just my theory, never tried pg before..

just tested my brake last nite by doing a ebrake at 90kmph... able to brake in time and steadily too. Upz for the stock brake pad!

Bro Bongstar, yah i know but need better feel for front brakes as it is really to soft as currently if i wan to stop effectively need to press on both as already develop a habit of only pressing front brakes even just to slow down. Seldom i use rears on other bikes unless really super e-brake as normal e-brakes also front as other bikes front is double disc and rear on single disc. Speakin of this when i was readin the tech specs of e runner, our front is single or double?

 

Nah bro is good for u to give me opinions so at least i know as im totally new to the scoot world but dun worry keke i tink see when my itchy backside feel come back again den i will go change brake hose and go PG haha but i guess front brake house and brake pads is a must.
