there's a inspection window to check the condition of the belt

never realise there is 1!!!tks for the infor

Maybe you need to check your auto choke

possible to check my own self?if not siao liao need sent to shop to check = spent money again!!!

To me it super good milage (avg about 35km / liter)

tks again.forgot to mention that its a yp250 which was advertise on this forum 2 mths back.initially was 200km/7+L until i change a warped front disc...

Yap that the engine oil indicator.....if it lighted up continuously, most likely is engine oil running low, check your engine oil.

just change engine oil today.oil quantity n quality both excellent although gear box oil was top to 500ml (needs only 250ml) by the previous owner. no

Juz scouted around.

New YP250/400 are still around. Hong Leong says parts are abundant.

YP400 amounts up to a super4 price.

YP250 amounts up to about 9.5K.

2nd hand bikes are around too.

Conclusion: Totally buyable bike since reviews about reliability and overall seems good too.

To both 250 and 400 owners?

Also, may I ask:

1) What type of engine oil you change.

2) Belt Change frequency and cost

3) Rollers Change frequency and cost

4) Variator and other funny stuff that needs to be changed on a scoot regularly? (and cost)

5) Tyres last how many km and which brand/cost

6) Majesty 250/400 got coolant? Yes then what frequency/cost of change.

7) Any other things I should take note when riding a majesty?

i think my is 00,or 01 model... its couldn't get tat kind of mileage too

if ur scoot using both front rear brake disc urs should be 00 and later model....bike is stock except for malossi filter for the airbox..i think i could get better mileage if i were to get rid of the junks(my tool box is heavy) from underseat compartment and box....maybe even take out my saddlebags...

For a 250cc Jap scoot, fuel consumption is normally above 29km/l as reference to my ex honda foresight @ 33-35km/l. Even for YP400, consumption is already @ 23-25km/l using Shell 98 for both. Is your bike leaking fuel or the carburettor faulty?
