never really calculate what fuel consumption my fz1gen1 does all these 5 years, suddenly backside itchy decide to monitor for past 2 fuel top-up.

 

i get 316 km/16 litres on average before reserve light came on, that calculate out to be around 19 km / litre...

 

now i know hahaha

Check it out with Hong Leong that may give you a standard market price or Bike Production that mey quote you a more interesting price.

 

Mine bought 3 months ago with ABS $19.4K not including Comprehensive Insurance (appx 1K). It is at the high side but i am with no regret.

ur goin on installments, 5yrs for FZ is a bit long.. consider a shorter term.

 

5% is about average. Some shops are 3% but sell the bike at a higher price. We generally go OTR price which is ard 20k. How long ur instlmts is up to you.

$350 x 12 months x 5 years = $21,000

 

$21,000 + $3,000 = $24,000

 

you are paying around $4,400 on interest

 

if you are alright with the figures than should be okay

well said abg nick Yup sum are giving 4%. Seem to recall some guys getting 3.5..but I can't remember who.

 

Abg Wan, this a very sensitive topic. If your worried why don't you take your time and shop around. As to which shops..dat one oso hard cos diff people have diff relationships. If you want, come down to the darkside or FMC LKS. Get the diff opinions (there are many). Then make your decision. Don't rush into it. 5yrs is not short.

not trying to be a wet blanket to your new toy but like what abg dabonz say, 5 years is a little long for a 20k loan. Everyone financial abilities is different but if you can, put a little more on the downpayment and cut down the number of years to pay the loan..i think a 3 year loan will be ideal. Nowadays it is not worth putting your hard earned money in the bank, the saving interest they give are pittance.

3k is too little for a class 2 bike. If you have a tight budget, i suggest 2nd hand bike. If you sell your bike within this 5 years you gonna to lost a lot.

aftermarket types does have certain addition functions for certain models built to suit the ride and style and it definitely cost alot more than juz changing the spring.
