hi guys.. im intending to get a 2nd hand fz6s bike..

 

i did survey some shop and particular fall for dis fz6 s2 grey original paintwork bike..

 

its milage is 20400 on its odomometer, registered on march 2009 and selling at 10.3k.

 

i did read this forum and managed to gather some information, bt theres still some question i jope u fazerians could ans..

 

1) is the odometer in miles or KM? if it is km, 20400km is consider gd for a mar 09 bike?

2) wads the diff btwn fz6 s1 and fz6 s2 bikes? i heard s2 bikes is much more stable.. not sure nid ur guys opinion.?

3) i intend to get a LV pipe aluminium for 939, will these effect the FC.. cz FC matters to me dats y i decided to get fz6 dis time round. so far i read it only effect the sound.. is this true?

4) wads the top comfortable speed fz6 could easily achieved and wads the top speed of the bike?

Not sure if this has been answer before. Can't seem to find in the search. I have a Fazer 800/ FZ8S. Want to put the hepco or trax top box only. any bro here has such a setup. please share some pics and shop where i can get it and any price range please.

FZ6 S2 mileage can be in KM or MILES.

u can change it by holding to the 'SELECT' button untill it changes!

can set manually to miles or km. for 20,400km, its consider ok. Seems to be an everyday bike but with good mileage

yes. No drop in FC if it involves only the change of aftermarket exhaust. I'm still getting the same mileage.

the engine screams above 6k rpm.....top speed around 240+km/h..(see youtube)

 

anyway got no such thing as top comfortable speed...if ure riding 200km/h upwards, its not comfortable at all...

More of a shock... so freaking shock why he do that. Just a few seconds i clear the uncle i will give way to him. I dunno wat he trying to prove. I already knw FZ1 is a better bike than mine already but i really dunno what he trying to prove. hahaha

 

Intend to follow him and give him a piece of me but he like heading towards ERP then i forgot to have my cashcard on. Argh... if not i sure follow him to his destination and scream the hell out at him.

 

Along the way he even overtake a Uncle S4 while he lane splitting... imagine uncle lane splitting already he still can over take. How close is it man... after seeing that i think he will definately cause someone to accident thus i gave up plus i didnt put cash card.

mine approaching 50k already and i still havent do valve clearance. several workshops also told me no need to do at 40k. can wait until 60-70k then do. of cos if you feel something is not right you can ask if your bike needs to do.

I just got mine done at ~65k km, by Meg Tong at Sporting Motors. Cost $150 (+GST) including carb synch. He told me my exhaust valves were a bit loose. The difference in smoothness and low end power was radical - the bike feels better than ever!!

 

If you feel your engine to be rough at low revs, this could cure the issue. Just my 2c

Same here. I heard loud "metal pieces flapping" sounds. I sent my ride to be diagnosed at M*t*RF@Ct*R by the boss.

 

The boss did a valve clearance for me and informed me when I was collecting my ride, that one of the exhaust valves is totally out of range.

 

Did some other servicings too, e.g. EO change, spark plugs changed to Iridium, air-filter changed to K&N, change sterring cone, etc...

 

After this servicing, bike is smoother than ever and I seriously never regretted it. Only regret is the big hole in my wallet. hahahaha....

hey guys i already got my fazer6 s2..

 

i got an issue here and nid some opinion from u guys..

 

i used to ride blackbird and i can tip toe comfortably wif both legs on the ground( both at least half of the footsize able to touch the ground) or 1 leg( whole foot able to touch the ground fully)

 

bt when i received my fz6 bike.. the seat was rather high and only manage to use one leg( foot tip toe like crazy) to touch the ground.

 

so i went to jb wif my seat only and ask them to file for me at $16 ringgit. when i came back i put back the seat, and now i can tip toe comfortably wif both legs on the ground( both at least half of the footsize able to touch the ground) or 1 leg( whole foot able to touch the ground) only when using shoe...

 

i dont like wearing shoe all the time.. is there any other ways to settle dis.. do i have to file my seat further? or do i nid a box and rack to add abit weight to the suspension and everything will settle? cz my box will come in next week?

 

im. 1.64 m only.. and ya i like fz6. anyone can help wif suggestion?
